Alberta boasts a $3 billion surplus, yet the decision on its allocation remains uncertain, even amidst the catastrophic fires in Jasper and the ongoing struggles of the province's vulnerable populations. These issues are exacerbated by housing challenges, reductions in rent subsidy programs, and cuts to education and healthcare systems. Now, the introduction of new gun policies permitting the carrying of sidearms, coupled with the establishment of a provincial police force, is underway. Should this gun legislation pass, concerns arise about the safety of Alberta's residents. Meanwhile, inquiries persist about British Columbia's support for neurodiverse couples nearing 50, who have minimal support needs for living accommodations and do not rely on income support programs. how does bc fair when it come to supporting neurodiverse populations over 50?
