Mateus Asato is talented & he probably practices 4 to 7 hrs a day. But there is no way that he is purely self-taught. He either had guitar lessons or has a music degree (Musician's Institute). He is adept in music theory and knows exactly how to execute them. Living legend.

Tremendous depth and understanding of the guitar and so fun to listen to. So many of the guitarist coming up just want to sound SO different it results in Millennial Melts of musical confusion with a lack of texture and harmony. Mateus gets it! Tremendous!
