interesting but you're not supposed to close the hole in the middle.
If you read the stories about dream catchers, it explains why the hole in the middle isn't supposed to be closed.
Good dreams are said to pass through the hole in the middle and bad ones are said to be caught in the web.

Actually if you want to make it more native American use Sanu I believe hobby lobby may have it or one of the native American pow wow the new is a waxed string that is actually made out of animal inside so they do not let anything go to waste but you can buy it in store already made

After the fifth layer, loop without knots. When you return to the unknotted loop, pull the string & secure. You can string your beads throughout the dream catcher. It does not need to be at the end.
