I found that quite emotional too. So nice to see British Machinery re born, and cast in a British Foundry. I doff my cap to you Sir!

Watching this episode again for I don’t know how many times. I still enjoy it. Do you know how many Ranalahs were cast back when they were in production? Just to chime in on the mini Ranalahs I think that is in the range of price for a quality tool. I’m glad to see someone like you come forward with a machine that quality was first . I hope you make your money back ten fold.

Dom - I've only recently discovered the channel and I've started following your several projects - I never knew what a Ranalah/Wheeling Machine was or that they even existed, but I've been very taken by your passion and of those helping you with this particular project. I've always been fascinated by engineering but never had the talent to pursue it as a hobby or career - however I'm really enjoying seeing you getting such joy out of what you do - amazing work Dom and congratulations on No.1

Brilliant! What a journey. I won't be the first to suggest it, but when the time's right for you, it would be great to see a small run of bench mounted 'miniatures' for the hobbyists out there.

Soul isn't in the machine it's in the person you building the machine is the soul or the guy banging on a bucket that's the soul, and that's why
machines are soulless.

Brilliant video and we both have things in common as I also cast metal but only bronze & alloy and not to the size of anything that large,+ I built my own full size wheeling machine but out of 6” square tube 1/4” thick as I also restore old cars but as a hobby as I’ve been retired since 2003 . You’ve done a cracking job and quite rightly must feel proud 👍👍👍😀

For those like me who don't fully appreciate what an English wheel can do and the skill involved, have a look at you tube "how to build a 3M pound Aston martin DB5 replica" Here they are using Ranalah wheels to make the body panels. Don't show you enough of it but you can see where the skill is. A 10 year apprenticeship!!!! Cheers From Western Australia
