I love how they just let you take everything in the armoury after they've spent so long trying to get in. You think they'd at least try and stop you, or only give you a share of the loot.

Also fun fact: their dialogues change if your wearing outcast power armor blending in and they become less rude to you because they’ll think your one of them.

Even in the American propaganda sim, they are depicting US soldiers taking chems to increase their combat efficiency.

I will agree w/ Ox's attitudinal read insofar as the US is indeed the headquarters of the technological and social engineering wings of the new world order. The devs are obviously having fun w/ the cold war-era dialectic but there are multiple hints at a larger agenda not hindered by nationalistic ideology.

Is Ox's read on the geo-politics of Fallout that the Communists were actually the good guys? I know the American military-industrial complex was highly corrupt and amoral, but the whole series pretty accurately depicts the real world's false dialectical tension between east and west that is run at its highest levels by a dysgenic, transhumanist elite.

thanks for the mod list, but with/without the mod my game frequently crashes when exiting dialogue or something. great video though, this dlc is awesome.

Imagine if they had a secret reference to liberty prime in this dlc, or even had him marching around and killin’ commies out of bounds (as a moral booster for any American playing the simulation, a way of saying “this is what’s coming to fight alongside you in the coming battles.” Or something)

You know those bumper stickers that read "my kid is an honor student"? I think it would be awesome to have merch that reads "My kid is The Father at the Commonwealth Institute"

Bought FO3 GOTY edition this week and was so confused in my first playthrough why there was a 2+ hour side quest

Got into this area by complete coincidence in my first playthrough and I was too busy looting until I realized a fight broke out within the outcasts. Killed everyone and looted them and was forced to slow walk all the way to megaton so I could store my stuff. Didn't even discover Megaton until after killing the outcasts that rebelled lmao

Why doesn't Bethesda make a million versions of fallout 3 n new vegas like they do with skyrim every few months?
