You think for a second I would depend on anything from Harbor Freight I got no problem buying cheap junk but that's not going to be my only way out

You can easily cut the truck rack to the height of your truck , just drill new holes for the bolts

Tip on the inexpensive cast iron. Take it home and if you have a hand held grinder with a flap wheel, take that too the inside of the pan and get it as smooth as you can before seasoning it, it will work much better. It can make your cheap cast iron perform like the more expensive stuff.

Amazon way better and cheaper for led

I wouldn't recommend the jumper cables. Today's vehicles have side effects from jump starting. Best to get a jump box. The jump boxes of today are small too. Easier to deal with than them crazy cables. If you question this, just look up your car and type in side effects to jump starting to see if your vehicle would be affected. Video was great! The best part is, HF is cheap. Something gets damaged or lost while camping, you are not out a lot of money. You break a $20 pod on the trail, no big deal. You break a $150 pod and you are not happy.

The Apex winch is great far better than the Smitty built winches.
The wireless Remote features the best part for me.

The flash light is great just check the soldering on the spring that connects to the LED. Mine came off after a couple of months. Just have to resolder better.

I used that large reciever mount D ring on my f250 to pull a tow truck carrying 2 vehicles. It's plenty strong.

I more then get being on a budget probably more then anyone here lol.
But st some point I would also say you get what you pay for.
When replacing something on my car like brakes for example, I might not get the carbon fiber with titanium pads but I don't want to cheap out either. So I get what I can afford without breaking the bank.

Would you go nilight or roadshock? Or is there a good mid-level option? I can't pay up for the big name options.

Harbor Freight is a men’s version of Bed, Bath and Beyond. You don’t really need anything but you always find and leave with something because it was a deal.

The camo heavy duty tarps are great at harbor freight. They cheap and work.

My brother has one of those green folding camp chairs. Been rocking it out for over 15yrs. Def a good buy!

Ive bought so much stuff from harbor freight for my overland setup and everything has been great! I laugh at people that spend $1000+ on led light bars. LEDs are 1960s technology LOL. Save your money people.

The flashing mode on the light is NOT for emergencies it is tactical it is to disorientate the aggressor but I guess you could use it for that shining upward .....

I carry the gordon drop point as my daily as a mechanic. Works great.

And lots of extra 10mm sprocket heads for my Tacoma!

I love HF. All of the high-end elites don't like redneck stores. I'm a redneck, so I have the ability to make things work.

Snatch blocks are for doubling pulling force on a cables/rope. Pulling force is continuously multiplied the more blocks are used.

I have heard a lot of good things about HF winches in general!!

My 2 cents would be to buy quality flashlights or headlamps my buddy had one with the battery pack on the back short out and caught on fire on his head lol good thing he had a baseball cap on. Streamlight Or Olight or Surefire or Nitecore pay the money be safe and most high-end lights are rebuildable and last forever.

That rechargeable headlamp is badass. It is heavy, but it works, and has a AA cell battery pack if you find yourself unable to charge.

The rack is great if you need to fit big things in the back of your truck but still want a tent up top! Great for work trucks too!

The green folding chair, we have one with a Toyota logo and it fits under the back deck, above the spare tire in a special tray. It didn't come with the car either. Lol!

the flash light i got from amazon is 20,000 lumens is stupid bright but the advertise it as 90,000 lumens. the price for 2 was $40 shipped with prime.

Harbor Freight has very nice tarps in a variety of sizes and colors and thicknesses.

I run the Road shock ditch light and I recommend them as they put out a lot of light.

A winch doesn’t HOLD weight🤦‍♂️🤡

All those lights are complete garbage

Looking at a lot of these items in 2024 and prices have increased 30%+ 🙄
