This is where Honda always irritates me. I've owned 5 because they are fun & reliable. They need some Cali designers on passion in the design. They are similar vehicles, but for some reason, the Hyundai looks better. Maybe proportions?

Can you put a camper shell on the Hyundai? No. It's not a truck. Was the bed cover open? No. Totally biased and unfair test.

Ridgeline is known for its reliability and longevity. It can haul and tow a reasonable amount of weight. Two totally different class of vehicles.

there are several "modes" for the ridgeline , eco, normal, sport,. Each primary mode has normal, mud, snow and sand as well .

Id love to see honda put maybe small single turbo on that same engine. Dont go down to 4 cyclinder.

He probably didn't disable the traction and did sport mode .I bet the Ridgeline could come closer if disabled the vcm .I disable the vcm in my pilot best thing I ever did .big difference in performance when disable vcm vs the honda is only using 3 cyl when vcm kicks in robbing poooowe plus it's 400lbs heavier

The Santa Cruz is not a looker in no way at all to me. The Honda is very handsome truck IMO. I choose the Honda for reputation, quality and looks.

Folks have been hating on the Ridgeline since day one. Yet here we are. Concept copied and shrunken. It’s been a practical El Camino from Japan. Not digging the Hyundai gimmicks.

Santa Cruz is such a copy cat.

The Honda has quite a bit less torque than the Hyundai. I’m guessing you would really see a difference with a trailer maxed out being towed behind both. I think the turbo might pull away more.
