Thank you so much for this video! Tried all of the first methods and nothing worked until i tried method 6 and my controller now works perfectly. Really happy with the outcome thanks to this video.
ОтветитьThis man is a life saver! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьYoooooo!! Thank you my man! Step 6 was the winner.
ОтветитьThank you very much sir. Method 5 worked for me.
ОтветитьIdk if i am the only person but for me method 7 was the charm and it fixed all the drifting problems.
ОтветитьRecently got the Xbox series S which come with a controller literally 4days later I get stick drift 😢thanks for the vid!
ОтветитьThis is a waste of time!!!
ОтветитьAs soon as he said pull the wires out I was gone
ОтветитьAccessories is not on that tab for me.😢
ОтветитьTomorro i wil try method 6. Already try everything else
ОтветитьDid the alcohol and now it won't turn on wonderful
ОтветитьThanks you!! Had to go to step 6, but it fixt it 100%!
ОтветитьSolid tech support bro, cheers
ОтветитьGood video. Thanks. Nothing worked for me sadly. In the bin it goes!
ОтветитьStep 6 worked for me like a dream. I was completely unable to move forward.
After step 6 I checked my analogs in the tester, all directions are 100% besides moving backwards now which is at 70%. But that’s completely fine as in most games I won’t need to move backwards at maximum speed.
Whitch screw?
ОтветитьFixed it THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU
ОтветитьThank you so much blowing my controller fixed the problem!
ОтветитьThank you you’re a lifesaver 👍
Ответитьreal quick, what freakin ogre is pulling these grips off with their bare hands? Also, thanks for tutorial
ОтветитьThank you so much, tried the first method and it instantly worked. Very helpful and clear
ОтветитьThere was no plastic inside where the disk is and the two metal things where different colors one silver one bronze lol
And it still has stick drift
Thank you! Work perfectly! Method 6 was my solution.
ОтветитьThe world really needs more people like @HowToX
ОтветитьAs a matter of fact... I'm subing!
ОтветитьBro needs an Oscar for being the best person on planet Earth....😀
ОтветитьThanks a lot !! Method 6 works, Just wonder... I am trying to keep my controler always clean, but there was inside such black dirt, no crumbs, it seems like residua of plastic or attrition of the iron parts, I would say there is some kind of inappropriate material that cause this issue. Or Am I wrong? Thanks
ОтветитьTried method 6 but now my controller won’t come on at all 😢
ОтветитьMAN thx MAN
Ответитьgot the plastic off but did not have the right screwdriver, ugh
ОтветитьMethod 8: Throw your controller in the trash and get a keyboard and mouse
ОтветитьI feel like it’s just easier to buy a new controller or just switch to PS5. I bet they don’t have this problem with their controllers. 😒
ОтветитьMethod five worked for a few minutes, but it came back really quickly. Tried method six and now I can't even get the stick to work. And one of the little connectors won't fit back on, so I guess I'm buying a new one. Man this sucks, I haven't even had it a full year yet.
ОтветитьMate the moment you said "some people just blow directly into it" i just started doing it and its instantly fixed 😁 had this issue for months to the point i had to turn off the controller in order to watch videos.
My bruddah 🙏😁
Thanks mate, really helpful, straigforward video. I had to unfortunately open up the analog doors, which I was a bit hesitant about doing, but my controller is working like a dream now.
ОтветитьFor me, simply keeping the stick pulled, like explained in step 1 worked. Pull up and don't press back.
ОтветитьThank you so much, I thought my controller was going to be trash but method 6 fixed it for me, I was kinda scared but so excited when I saw the drift was gone, unbelievable! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI didn’t realize they were fucking security torx screws
Ответитьthis really fixed my controller, i just kept jumping in MK1 and now i can go back to making tutorials ;)
ОтветитьThank you for this video because my right joy stick kept tilting my screen up and down and some games like minecraft dungeons would make my character dodge back which got annoying and all I had to do was flip the controller over and tap like 5 times and now it's fine so thank you so much
ОтветитьI tried every step, 6 was the one that finally worked. Blowing didn’t, tapping on the back didn’t, cleaning out the inside stick didn’t, but prying apart that little green cap and cleaning the entire inside of that area(the white part mostly) actually did the trick, and the controller had no damage thanks to your cautious process.
Thanks a ton dude, saved me 60 bucks because I was ready to just buy a new one!!! Also I felt really good after I got it to work, felt like a true tech nerd!
Well done, detailed explanation and good videography. Thank you for the vid.
ОтветитьWhat a hero!! I was just about to open my remote and decided to just search an alternative and it worked 💪🏼 🎉
ОтветитьMy Nintendo game cube controller still works well and is far better then the xbox contoller, LMAO
ОтветитьI bought a Xbox one era controller years ago still working fine but my stock series controller has awful drift. If they gave you the option to increase the dead zone it would be fine
ОтветитьNgl even still now method 1 didn’t work I didn’t have a straw but method 3 came in clutch thank you
ОтветитьPHENOMINAL VIDEO!!! Had a drift on my left analog stick and had tried everything up to step 5. Went to step 6 and it fixed it like a charm. Great video. Be sure you guys are using the right tools, be patient with yourself if it's your first time working inside a piece of hardware, and try not to rush through this to get back to your gaming faster. Just follow these instructions and your chances of saving yourself $60 will go up
ОтветитьReally helpful vid. Had to take mine apart and blew it out with compressor and works great now. Thanks
