Heard and Unheard is an electroacoustic work for 8 speakers composed by Ben Johansen (there is also a 4-channel version). This is a stereo mix of the work and thus has much less 3d image and less dynamic range. Every sound in the work originated from recordings of Ben performing on the saxophone. The title is a word play on “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4: 18).
