Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be exactly the white gravy my grandmother taught me to make years earlier. I still love it and make different versions of it.

ОтветитьI never knew how to make this but I used to put cheese and white wine and melt it all and whisk it up then add flour and whisk that up with white pepper some nutmeg and shallots. kind of tasty but not the real thing

ОтветитьI used COCONUT FLOUR and it came out lumpy (just a little bit though). I will use regular flour the next time I try cooking this sauce and see if there is a difference.
