Maybe is a possible meteorite? Why the test.

You can't do it on rust, it has to be clean. Grab some sand paper and clean a patch, and keep getting the sand paper finer and finer until 3000 grit, and if it doesnt shine like a mirror then its not a Meteorite. But you cant rub rust as its a pigment.

Use a larger earth magnet; NOT a small fridge magnet. Megnetite found in almost ALL rocks will hold a small magnet like yours.

Take it easy. This is not a meteorite for sure. You will never see such holes in meteorite. Dimethilgliocsime test means nothing.

The rust from the iron looks to be possibly interfering with the test and could be just flowing with the solution . I haven’t use that product . So I have no idea about the product . Do you see any fusion lines or other identifying things that are common on Meteorites. ? Hope that’s not just iron rock with some rust .

That is not a meteorite. industrial slag. And yes slag can coontain nickel.

Have you tried to send it to the lab for analysis test?
