I have my prom tomorrow and it was amazing to see Katie prepping with her friends and having a great time both at the dance and afterwards. It's definantly starting to hit, the fact that we were once freashmen's thinking how the hell are we going to make it and BOOM, almost at the finish line with 2 months to go.

My senior prom freaking sucked. I felt so ugly the whole time bc my makeup was bad and dress was not flattering and the actual dance was so lame and the “after party” was just a bunch of people drinking and I left after 5 minutes

As a senior myself, I’m going 2 something called a, “Spring Fling”, which is basically prom, but not really at the same time. It’s this Friday after school, from 6p.m. - 9p.m. in the evening. The dress code is semi-formal, so I’mma probably wear a dress shirt and a blazer. It’s being run by one of my absolute favorite former teachers. Mr. Rherig, who looks like Gabriel Van Helsing. Like, I’m not joking, he’s got the fedora-like hat and everything. Obviously NOT the crossbow, ‘cuz that’s inappropriate and illegal. And Van Helsing is one of my all-time favorite movies. I adore the Van Helsing movie and so does he. We talk abt it all the time, as well as the Bram Stoker Dracula novel, which is one of my all-time favorites books. He prefers the annotated Dracula, and recommends that I try that. I hope they play The Spin Doctors and Huey Lewis & The News, which r 2 of my all-time favorite bands.
