This is really a big issue now in The Netherlands!, The Government went on a bill in 2019 to allow DuPont to dumb forever chemicals 25 to 30 kilo a year. Now families and the local authorities are suing the company for dumping and poisoning the society the water etc. Only fear is because the government allowed the DuPont to dumb those chemicals the judge will probably stay on the side of DuPont.

If i'm right in the upcoming month the judge will have a verdict.......Lets Pray this company gets the Karma they deserve for poisoning society and our waters

i'm from parkersburg. i was tested for C8 when i was a kid, i tested positive, and my mom got a $400 compensation check. it paid for groceries that week. that's the ONLY restitution we ever got. they're one of the biggest employers in the area, so we're forced to depend on them.

I grew up in a small town on the KY lake. The lake was made by damming the TN river in 1944 to build the TVA New Johnsonville steam plant, to provide energy for the lower part of the TN valley. After TVA constructed the steam plant, land was sold to DuPont in 1959, to build a plant to manufacture pigment. Until the EPA was formed, DuPont used the lake to dump all their toxic chemicals. The rate of cancer in the men and women that worked there is alarmingly high. The rate of cancer in people that live in that area is alarmingly high. Especially brain cancer. It’s a shame they were allowed to do it for so long. They were even safe from the some of restrictions of the EPA until 2005. That area is poor and people were just happy to have high paying jobs (for that area) never knowing what it was doing to their health.

I’ve been speaking about this company for years! Roundup gave my husband cancer. He died a horrible death! I’ve been so mad about there plastic bottles instead of glass. They made them impossible to recycle then blamed the public for not recycling! What the Heck. SICK PEOPLE! Satan’s own !!

My friend Al worked for DuPont for over 30 years and was directly involved in developing Teflon. He passed away from failing health, my intuition tells me it had something to do with his career.

I live in Clarksburg, about 2 hours north of Parkersburg. To this day there are people who still use DuPont as a swear word and refuse to purchase or use their products. Legend tells of a former employee named Mark Rayes who was disowned by his family and run out of the state because of this whole mess.

They always paid off politicians to looo the other way.
