The fact he was already named captain of Brampton as a 17 year old speaks volumes to his leadership qualities and likeability in the locker room. Wouldn't be surprised if he cracks the World Junior Roster in a depth role

This is my #1 player in this draft. Size, speed, hands, grit, and leadership. Hoping the Hawks can draft this future star.

Hoping to see him in teal on Will Smith's wing

Kind of reminds me of better Quentin Musty, Musty may have a better shot, but Martone is probably better in every other area. He’s also a guy that NHL teams will love, big kid, good leader, and just great all around. If the Sharks end up with pick 2 or 3 he could be an incredible add to that future top 6, imagine a line of him, Will Smith, and Quentin Musty!!

My favorite player in the entire draft. I would kill to have Brady - Timmy - Martone top line for the future but we won't be picking between 2-5 :(
