I have used many different IQ tests online which claimed I have an IQ of between 135 - 160 at highest. I went to a psychiatrist and supposedly it's a 174 I don't feel like that's true

I kind of get the Dr’s point but still, does that mean people who fall in the 85-115 category have relatively close intelligence?

There's some evidence, if I recall correctly, that there are more very high IQ scores than the Normal distribution would predict.

This video was helpful in clarriying information in regards to IQ and intelligence as it is a measure of intelligence and it can sometimes be confusing. In the work that I do, I also found it interesting that although only 2% of population fall below 70 or above 130, many of the children I work with have a score lower, showing how 2% within the population actually appears.

This video was interesting, & it helps to simplify what is measured & meant by IQ. In some ways I think people put too much weight behind the concept of IQ, & give it more meaning than is it's purpose.
