I’d also like to mention the trap that killed agent straum and the glass box with the poison antidote in it. Those traps were super easy but the victims were too dumb to pay attention and listen to the rules. Straum coulda just hopped in the glass coffin and the girl coulda smashed through the box instead of sticking her hands in the razor blades

I feel like most traps you're being watched and if you attempt to cheat them they'll just be triggered then and there

The ceiling jars trap the answer is obvious but your suspension of disbelief says, ehh, whatever, that’s not intended.

Kramer's got a brain tumour. Perhaps, along with people valuing their lives, he wants them to value their brains and take 3 seconds to look at the trap and realise there must be another way. Many of Kramer's traps are escapable without the slightest harm to yourself. Like the first movie when the first thing the idiots think of, all by themselves, is sawing off their entire feet rather than taking a single glance at the rusty pipe or the lock.

I think that the reason Kramer thinks he's so moral and clever and all that is because he practiced with a lot of his traps. When he tells somebody to do something painful, like put hooks in their flesh, it's not 'rules', it's his sick idea of a joke, a suggestion - he's already tested the trap and knows the perfect way to get out without a scratch. The guy's a complete sociopath, it wouldn't occur to him for a moment that his victims are frightened and panic. Of course there are traps which even a frightened person should realise that there must be another way and are so stupid that they practically deserved it.

Most of the traps that are truly impossible are made by somebody else.

idk if this counts since it was actuallt a game, but Detective Matthews had the easiest one. He wasn't trapped in anything, and he didnt have to harm himself or anyone else to win. All he had to do was be patient and listen to John's ramblings about his work, and basically just not be an asshole/shitty cop.

I know its a dream but the eye vacuum trap from Saw X is one of the most beatable. I kept thinking "Rip the bandaid off! Just turn the dial all the way up and you win!"

the one with the reverse bear trap did kinda hurt her becuase it went into her jaw

Like in saw 4, Rigg could have just. Left. Yeah maybe Hoffman or Amanda if Jeff hadn't killed her would have killed Matthews and Art cause, you know, they're awful even in terms of jigsaws traps, but he could have avoided 3 people, including himself being killed (the motel dude had it coming so maybe John had planned for him to he tested regardless of Rigg)
Also in saw 2, they just had to not use the key on the door, and there was no reason to look through the keyhole (maybe it would have shot someone else though, if they had just been standing in the guns line of sight)

Update to the list: Saw 10's prologue "trap". I put that in quotation marks because it's a Saw 3D style imagine spot towards the beginning where John saw someone almost steal something before the would be thief decided to be a better person. But in that brief moment, John's mind was like "Eh, he's probably fucked when I put him through the wringer." ... Except for the fact that the almost thief would have gotten a pretty easy deal: All he had to do was dislocate his fingers because haha, he's a thief and his fingers cause suffering... not in the "Ivan from Saw 4" kind of suffering, but still, he'd definitely be able to heal his fingers later. It's just that the very avoidable penalty for failure would be reenacting a Sega Saturn commercial. You know the one. Hey, no pressure or anything! ... Obvious pun is obvious. Actually, speaking of Ivan, it's ironic that Ivan lost his limbs for failing to blind himself, while the thief had the possibility of being blinded for failing to maim part of his hand.

The Saw X trap where Gabriela has to break a hand and a foot to escape the shackles isn't easy mode but it's definitely one of the more tame traps and I'd choose that over 95% of the traps in the franchise.

I think my two are in jigsaw & saw 3. In jigsaw kramer put the woman in and man in the bathroom with the gun which had the key in it to free them, but instead the woman didn’t listen to kramer, when he said “here’s the key to your freedom”. In Saw 3 the needle pit wasn’t that bad to me unless you’re worried about dirty needles poking you😅

I wonder who's idea was this pig trap. I saw a couple of disguisting things in movies, this belongs to the podium! Drowning in guts. Bleh.

In saw 8 you could just walk up to the saws and saw your chains off

The most easy trap was the one in saw 2, where you had to get an antidote for some virus gas. There was a few people in there who each had a personal trap. One of the girls had an antidote glued down in a glass box with arm holes to grab it. When you grab it your arms get trapped because they are impaled with knives. In the background of that scene there is a chair, I would break the glass box with the chair and just inject myself to survive

Since saw x just came out it also had one of the easiest traps

The eye vacuum trap, he either breaks 5 of his fingers by turning a knob with his left hand which is simple enough or have his eyes vacuumed out, this is easier compared to most of saws traps

Sir officer Daniel Rigg had the easiest test in the entire franchise. All he had to do was N O T H I N G! 😅

Jigsaw gave the Fatal five a humungous hint that they were supposed to work together with the "don't trust your instincts" bit. they just ignored him.

Honestly Bobby's trap could've been beaten my wrapping his hands in his clothes and pulling apart the electrical wires to get to his wife

First of all what many forget is that it depends on who Jigsaw is. I guess that Kramer would have let some workaround slip, but if you tried to avoid Hoffmans traps, he probably would have just killed you anyway

the last "beatable" trap is actually more difficult in my opinion like what if ur unlucky and wont be able to dodge the spikes like it doesnt have that much space like theres a stoll huge chance atleast a slight chance of it piercing u in yk groin or other place so i guess its still is dangerous so it isnt very beatable

Bro forgot about the trap im the poison house, where she simply has to lift up the lauers and grab the antidote. She fails because she is dumb as shit and is probably affected by the poison

I think the fact that you are not allowed to cheat since he’s watching you through the cameras in all of the games is the reason why some of the “ways to beat it “ isn’t really valid like “ standing on the hooks” to save his wife , if he were to cheat and do that his wife would’ve gotten killed for that alone

Jigsaw was going easy on the fraud. At very beginning of the game stuck in the cage, to me it didn't even count as a challenge, if he died then, it wouldn't be much of a movie also it's just meant the rest would've been the rest were screwed from the start. One things for sure that Silencer trap could've been avoided in more ways than you think. In her case, it's impossible cause she just don't know how to be QUIET! Granted, I know it hurts. But if you really had the will live, she could've done better by surpressing her REACTION. Even after getting key, the woman just screamed like it was over, she wasn't even trying to endure. But I was really mad at the guy trying to save her. He too busy looking at her instead of opening the damn lock! Pay attention to what you're doing people.

I don't understand the bucket head trap. Wouldn't the saw just stop when they get pulled into it? Or did they have a time limit to give blood?

The "guy" that Amanda had to kill was actually her boyfriend. So it's not only her having to kill someone, but a loved one. i think it can be compared to Jeff having to burn his kid's toys.

I think people tend to forget that they watch you to make sure you follow the rules. If you cheat, I'm sure there's fail safes to ensure you do it properly.

Personally I think Saw 2's oven traps the easiest as all you have to do is turn a wheel
