I remember reading somewhere that the WoW logs are pretty bad and the GM's can't actually tell what the player has been doing.
ОтветитьAny initial animosity I had towards OG gold sellers has been entirely washed when I learned a grandma was running the site
ОтветитьGold in World of Warcraft has NOT become 'worthless and deflated." The obvious fact is that WOW's economy and the Real World economy share a basic economic fact in common; increase the money supply without increasing the quantity of goods in the marketplace and YOU GET INFLATION AND A DECREASE IN BUYING POWER.
WOW's auction house and your real-world economy operate with the same economic rules.
i met my wife on a gold tour down in da-nang....
Ответить$22 an hour tax-free is like $35 an hour in California.
ОтветитьValve use real human pros to detect cheaters, why not WoW? cause money?
Ответитьand now all is cheaper to them play legally, monthly sub to play all expansion, not the latest, pay 13$ to make tons of $$$$ 😂
ОтветитьFuck official servers, embrace private
ОтветитьThis is why we can't have nice things.
Ответитьan thing to consider about bots as much as players hate them every bot is a payed account that give blizzard money.
ОтветитьTechnically, money loosing value is called inflation, not deflation, but ok.
ОтветитьI would do about anything to escape working in a factory im currently at
ОтветитьSo is it possible to make real money off of solo grinding gold anymore ? Or would you need a lot of invested money for the bottling setup to make it profitable?
ОтветитьG2g
G2a
Tft
Gdkp
Are racketeering sites /discord group are stealing money and permanently molding the games economy to screw over the legit gamers and make the development job harder
At least I hope with cataclysm and raid difficulty ramping up guilds will have to adjust to more oldschool, dedicated group loot systems. Of course GDKP will keep existing for normal raids but for heroics no way pugs will be able to clear the hard bosses.
ОтветитьAsmogold reacting to your video, getting payed for it, and not even linking your content is criminal man... I'd rather watch it her eon your channel.
ОтветитьI remember when bots would run into the cities and spell out the web address to buy gold with corpses.
ОтветитьI am still reporting bots and once I got a mail from a GM ingame who told me that my ticket let to banning several bots and they said thank you. I really appreciated that.
ОтветитьI imagine your cheeks would be under the constant threat of being busted if you went to Prison for gold farming in WoW, lol.
Ответитьand you have to have a subscription on the bot too .. that means 300k gold is the tax for 1 bot
ОтветитьAnd videos like this make things far worse. Thanks agent smith
ОтветитьOr... just don't make fast flying 5k... make is something reasonable like 1k...
Ответитьthe banwave issue is because if they did a wave every week bots would figure out what features etc get detected and how to get around stuff riot games does the same with scripters (cheaters)
ОтветитьBots life is so easy to make terrible by captcha or other things. Gold transfer what ever way should trigger instant investigation how many flags everyone got
ОтветитьThe worst part is... It works because there is a market. People actively spend money to be in a gdkp to buy weapons/armor for extremely high prices just so that that gear is then obsolete with the next big patch.
The players themselves basically ruin their own game. You will never need this much gold in this game. I remember when i made my first 100k back in wotlk through inscription by playing the auction house for like hours on end. Took a very long time.
Now seeing 100k being thrown around casually for a boe is just.. wtf...
How can he say wow token creates a "price minimum", I think he means a price maximum.
ОтветитьI work with a AI tech for a company; we make predictions based on large volume sets. You could EASILY detect bots just on log files. I could quickly identify half their bots with minimal work if I had a data blizzard set with our software.
ОтветитьWhy change something as long the cash rolls in. Just take a peek at Diablo IV to see where WoW will be going.
ОтветитьGreat doc
ОтветитьNice work man. I haven't played retail wow since the end of Pandaria. I was one of the richest, non-bot players in the game at one point and still love the topic of making gold (in case you are curious about HOW rich, allow to to brag about having 2.2 million gold spread across 8 toons at the end of TBC. I had several people farming herbs for me (THEY were likely bots) and I would make glyphs. For a few days, just before WOTLK I was making upwards of 40k per hour. I eventually quit wow altogether when I looked at my time played. In less than 10 years I had literally played over 2 full years in the game. I had lvl 2 bank alts with 80 days played. So stupid.
ОтветитьThe irony is that this is the exact problem with modern Blizzard. They're happy to sacrifice the long term integrity of their IP's in favour of short term profit. This is just another example of that. They technically make more money in the short term, but players inevitably leave or at least become disillusioned at the game.
ОтветитьI manually farmed gold for 8 hours a day for a month on df launch by gathering.
Guess I'm sus.
But seriously, some people enjoy the gold farming aspect of games.
Blizzard is not going to kill the extra subs they get for it sadly.
ОтветитьThis is why I will probably never go back to WOW, I quit during Shadowlands as there were bots everywhere and I couldn't even quest in some areas. I really enjoyed WOW but it got so bad I couldn't even level a character so probably still staying away. Better games to spend my time on then bot bashing.
ОтветитьIf there really were legal issues regarding Warden snooping, then Riot with Valorant would be in deep trouble.
Ответитьthere was a period where goldsellers became such a problem on many servers that it caused severe inflation in game, AH skyrocketed to ridiculous prices. stuff that normally would cost a few silver suddenly had a price of several gold (silver bar that normally went for 1-2 silver suddenly went for 50-100 gold for instance) this was silly money back in vanilla. at one point it was so bad that AH was useless, you couldn't afford anything there anyway, most trade goods were out by the same people at bonkers prices. to combat the problem the biggest raiding guilds and trade goods dealers started flooding AH with trade goods for cheap and items at normal prices, took a few weeks, but it brought the economy back to normal and for a time the gold sellers stopped spamming the general and trade channels. guess their wallet got hit too hard by half the server fighting back..
ОтветитьLoved this, thanks!!!!
Ответитьblizzard dont care as long as they have paid for an account
ОтветитьI was making $10k/month in Secondlife life with bots. Basically areas were ranked in search based on their avatar traffic so I filled servers with bots on behalf of the server owners. They sold their credits anyway so there wasn't any deflation to slow me down and I even had a virtual bank in the world. However eventually they changed their ranking system. That's when SL lost like 80% of it's apparent daily users and it slowly died as a 'game' to be what it is today. I suppose as it looked empty.
ОтветитьWithout a blizzard and community driven inquisition that could cost blizzard hundreds of millions of dollars per year or more it ain't happening. Might as well embrace it as part of the reality of the game at this point.
ОтветитьUsed one of my videos, i feel honored 😂
ОтветитьUsually after someone says "Blizz need to..." I'd be right on board with agreement. However, Blizz have tanked this franchise and others so hard, so often, and in the most ridiculous ways possible, Blizz just needs to die at this point. Start again from scratch, new company, new people, new IP, and always remember the lessons of how NOT to fully corrupt and hollow out good IP that could've lastest way longer, and be more lucrative, if you just weren't so srupid.
Ответитьim not even lvl 20 and already have 40g .. its easy right now to make gold even at the bottom.
ОтветитьAsmond ganking your video and I see no attribution to channel name :/
ОтветитьThere's a lot of interesting interviews and etc in this video. Unfortunately it's also full of opinion passed off as fact, and baseless claims. Even if you are likely correct about an assertion you need to make sure it's entirely verifiable fact before you claim it as such
