Can this be done in a sitting posture by having a ball between the back of the neck and a wall or a backrest of a chair?

Crazy stuff, seen it in FTL too before they built more housing downtown. That alone would cause a ton of new businesses to open up but since city policies are probably against that I guess we'll just continue to watch the decline

I just did this for the first time. Set out my yoga mat and could really feel resistance on my left side as that is my clicky shoulder. Hopefully my foward head posture and double chin will improve over time.

Just used this one! Was battling a tension headache from my shoulders and neck. I am amazed at how quickly everything released when I laid down. Now my headache is almost undetectable.

I've always had forward posture, mostly from having JRA and always keeping my knees at an angle to prevent soreness when they're straight. Then I had a shoulder injury and it's all gotten much worse. Went to PT and got into a better space but it seems to have gotten much worse. At least the headaches aren't back yet. I'll start using this and adding back all my chin tucks and yoga

This is helping very quickly. For me, I raised my arms above my head to really get in there and find the areas that hurt the most to stretch them out.

I've been waiting a long time to thank you guys I'm 60% to my corrected state. I'm only giving you guys this idea, make a halter split!!!! halter splint!! halter splint!!! Halter tops (Marilyn Monroe dress upper strap) are the choice of heavier set chest area women known to look great and I notice, i shouldn't wear them when not with a straighter posture which seems to look like the initial stages of what could become what you're describing....

What does this technique have to do with correcting the faulty postural habits that created the problem to begin with and, in all likelihood, will perpetuate the problem in spite of this band aid fix for tight or achey cervico-thoracic musculature?

Finding your channel has helped me realize practically all my migraines stem from my posture, sleeping habits, and exercise needs. After high school they got really bad and I was put on medication for them. I have a pinched nerve under my right shoulder blade and the skin around that area is completely numb. It's been like that for I don't know how many years. Last time I went to a doctor he kept asking me what I think the issue is and then said "you're posture sucks." Didn't suggest anything, just tried getting my insurance to approve an MRI I didn't need.

Is there a massaging device designed for the area between the shoulder blades and spine? Between the base of the neck to the bottom of the shoulder blades? I have tightness and need to massage that area, but I need something larger than a ball. Something to massage that entire area at one time.

If you take 2 tennis balls tied in a thick athletic tube sock the less stretch the better (or sewn in for customized spacing ) it is possible to do both sides of the spine at once.
