I have teenage children and I would do anything to protect them but I so appreciate this scene. Too often teens are presented as harmless things but they can hit where it hurts. A teenage girl can be brutal and manipulative. I remember those days and how mean other girls could be. I also love Mean Girls for the same reason. Its not misogyny. Its honesty. We woman are often great human beings but I always appreciate when women call each other out a bit. We need to police our own a bit more but without the subtle mean girl antics and talking behind each others backs. Of course, I am not justifying calling a teenage girl a c-word because she want to buy a necklace. But more honesty is what I mean.

Considering they had 10 solid minutes of footage of these two just insulting each other up and down they should have made the final scene a little longer. There were some seriously funny insults in the extended version that they could have used, it just became off the chain the longer and longer it went on for, and the whole thing would have flowed better.

Annie is a total trainwreck everyone can see. Only that kind of person would act that way to costumers.
