I wish they let us build a very custom ship as in either give us all the small parts to design our own or let us sort of mold it into place with a special tool on the multi tool that has several sizes ranging from a tiny dot to very large dots or different shapes of whatever metallic material you have... and then it has to fit certain specs to become a ship and you can put your glass in shape it terraform it mold it... or a combination of that and parts to use to build a nice ship.

Ship customization will probably be one of the last things to get added to the game. Why? Because hunting for rare ships makes many people spend hundreds of hours with NMS.
Hello Games would do themselves a huge disservice if they let us reduce that hunting time tremendously with just a few clicks in some customization menu.
Of course it would be great for many of us to finally make that perfect ship we were dreaming of for so long. But what do you do once all your dreams come true? Only the void awaits then.

The reason why I think HG won't bring ship customization too soon is because there is an entire community of people who spent hours searching for that perfect Starship that is also procedurally generated. No two ships in different star systems will be the same. Each one has a unique feature or color which differentiates it from the previous similar looking ship that you may have seen. For many it is like a mini game of roulette. Its a very relaxing activity... a little like sitting in a fashion show of ships as they come and go.

Just curious. You do know it's best to connect you technology to the corresponding ones right?

How do you communicate with the vendors? I tried learning new words with everyone walking around but the vendors still speak gibberish and only give me the option of leaving.

We are getting other opportunities to get our hands on those override keys. Cause it would be stupid to force us to play and build the char from the last expedition while many of us have allready maxed out normal and perma and survival chars.

Another thing I've noticed is that when I reload my save directly from the reload data menu, when it's finally loaded, that notice comes up and says that the expedition is over when I was only at phase 3. Bad bad bug! It wouldn't even let me continue playing the game either. I had to back out completely to the start game menu to continue

Honestly this was such a tease and a massive scare

No worries it autosaves when you land in the space station most alert people would have reloaded

Knight Alese ran into that same "Expedition Over" bug every time she tried to reload an expedition save. Its better to back all the way out and load the save regularly.

Maybe it will work in a normal save mode 🤷🏽‍♂️
