Should get a permit to have children.
Ответить😮 that's the reason! Now i know😄
ОтветитьCairo now has 25 million people in it. We used to drive out to the pyramids. It is now downtown Cairo.
ОтветитьSo, you say that the egyptian gov is widening the roads to make it easier for police and the armed forces to move in the city and crash the protestores not to make it easier for the citizens to move in awide well paved streets
What an awesome conspiracy theory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
America is stealing our money to build Egypt....
ОтветитьThis new city is about ego and legacy. Its like a new age pharaoh who is building his new own pyramid. Egypt deserves better than dictator after a dictator who keep building high end compounds for the rich and powerful and keep draining the GDP in non profitable projects that keeps them borrowing money to cover IMF loans like the enlarging the Suez canal , the costly administrative city and the very expensive train project like this Sisi guy haf done
ОтветитьAnother Paroh, dictator is ruling Egypt today without any respect for democracy.
ОтветитьIt won't matter they just plan in sercect
ОтветитьHello Indonesians
ОтветитьWasted 10 minutes to watch these naive conclusions. 😅

Ответитьwhy didn't you mention the renovation and upgrading of all old cairo areas that make it a center for turests' attraction? so many of those old historic crowded areas are now so buetiful and clean where you can walk through and enjoy the historical seens. All is continually expanding and being revived after the moving of all government offices away from historic Cairo and reducing polution and crowdedness. A journy between the west most and the east most edges of old cairo now takes less than 10% of the time it used to after adding all those roads and bridges. You only wish to give those who do not live here the bad view of our Cairo.
ОтветитьBad omen

ОтветитьSince pharaoh time the policy of oppressive governments did not change
ОтветитьSmart President that one
ОтветитьOne year later, in October 2023, we’re witnessing the misery and suffering inflicted upon the Egyptian people by this government.
Some additional context for the international audience, in an attempt to educate the people of the free world on our governments’ dysfunctional foreign policies. Yes, I’m talking about the UK, the US, and all western “democracies”
What happened during the last two weeks is a stain on our governments’ foreign policies- such policies that endorse and continue to support this level of oppression in Egypt and across the Middle East. All in the name of “protecting our political interests in the region”
Please read about this “election” in Egypt; the atrocities of political oppression, human right violations, abuse of power, voter suppression, and persecution committed against 110 million people will devastate your faith in your government’s foreign policies. Our foreign policies reek of injustice, double standards, and failure to support people’s rights to the very freedoms we cherish today.
The same folks who are squealing under the current regimes boots, are the same people who destroyed their only hope, the Morsi government.
ОтветитьAll Egypt economy, politic, social was control by military entity.
ОтветитьCome to Calif and learn from our success. We have a great track record of building housing for low income people. Giving ppl free or low income housing helped us eradicate homelessness. It also didn’t blow a hole through our budget because our govt spent our tax money wisely and efficiently. It is a great example of how much success can be achieved when a govt dictates housing policy instead of say, the free market. Shame on Egypt for wanting to develop housing for ppl who can afford to buy them.
ОтветитьHere he ignores, with all the foolish genius of his hope, that his unpatriotic government will collapse the issue at some point.
ОтветитьThis is the Egyptian Versailles. Will it have the same destiny?????????????????????????
ОтветитьThis is so crazy
ОтветитьSisi destroyed Egypt
ОтветитьWhy they didn't move the capital to another city instead of building new city?!!
ОтветитьA malicious report aimed at sedition in Egypt
ОтветитьThe new city has it's own budget, which came from selling some spaces in the same city to real-estate companies 😅
🇪🇬EGYPT debt $165B (313% Currency Crash in 10 years)
🇹🇷TURKEY debt $475B (1222% currency crash in 10 years)
In 2023, Irdogan 🇹🇷 took the same way to build a new city with debt.
He is asking for $35B from the Int. Bank 🏦
The conclusions given here sound too speculative. The city is obviously overcrowded so widening the roads and adding more bridges just sounds like overhauling the infrastructure, not an intentional plan to make protests more difficult. Same with moving the government out of the city, being away from the protesting masses just seems like a convenient upside.
ОтветитьNot going there
ОтветитьThis happened in Pakistan and real reason was " Army's hegemony"
Ответитьa president established icon for him self, nothing more and nothing less.
ОтветитьIn Brazil, Brasilia has been built in the sixties with similar purpose. For an example, less than 4 years after its inauguration, a military coup happened. In Rio de Janeiro, the former capital, it would have been much more difficult, as we can state by observing the fact that there was some atttempts that fail, such in 1954, 1955.

Egypt is in great debt
ОтветитьIn the United States we established our capital in a swamp that nobody wanted to stay in during the summer time. A capital of a country should not be in the most populated city. They're doing the right thing.
ОтветитьInteresting that you would conclude that the only reason for the new city is to make government hard to reach. Could there other reasons?
ОтветитьBtw over 90% of Egypt's Electricity is made from coal and other fossil fuels. They should rather invest into renewables
ОтветитьSo, let me get this straight; when new cities are built they're very lightly populated because commute to and from these new communities are not facilitated. And when somebody tries to solve this issue by constructing new wider rida, train tracks etc, your rational is that this is done to prevent protesters from creating road blocks!!!? How impartial!!!
Ответитьlove to report that the majority of the Egyptian population which are young can't afford housing marriage and most of them can't even find jobs and the ones that do either it's a low income one or a job outside of Egypt with only a little actually having an income job inside Egypt which makes about 25% percent of the population unhappy unemployed and wanting to leave so let the Sisi do his thing soon he will be ruling an empty land or they will rebel and we will see a 2nd Syria .
ОтветитьI'm Egyptian and I don't know what you're saying, but it's obviously a good thing. 😅😂
