That’s my cousin on his shirt
ОтветитьThat jared feather shirt is amazing😂
ОтветитьMike sort of went off the rails at the end there and let his ideology get in the way of what the research bears out.
Josh was correct but was I think was being polite to his guest.
It's alot like smoking. While there is price elasticity, increasing prices while funding education typically reduces the overall consumer base and therefore positively contributes to harm reduction (and often increases profits for those companies).
While the education/price has to creep ever higher to dissuade current customers to opt out, you can dissuade new customers without incurring nearly as many costs associated with pricing/education when compared to established customers.
It's also a little naive and ideology driven to ignore the role children play in consumer decision making
Loving all this fitness and nutrition content! I think all people should work out but especially women. We live the longest but have the highest probability of being bedridden the last 5-10 years of our life because of muscle loss after menopause so it’s better to start early. Not everyone can get into shape easily later in life after years of being immobile
Ответитьbro.... the farts....
ОтветитьWhy is Mike's office in a 10 x 10 cube of mirrors?
ОтветитьI’d like to see how they react to those with diseases like PKU (Phenylketonuria). Those with this condition can’t have a lot of protein. (My limit is 11 grams a day)
ОтветитьFreaking Love Dr. Mike. My favorite Dr Mike right here
Ответитьcalling meals, "feedings", is so dehumanizing to me.
ОтветитьOh man three of my favorite creators in this crossover??? Thrilled is an understatement.
ОтветитьDr. Mike Israetel!!!!
ОтветитьAlso, healthy food is more expensive than processed foods. A box of Mac n cheese is a couple bucks a steak is about $10 to $15
Ответитьcan you please do my final meal for me
Ответитьshocked that you were bale to reign him in. he can talk on about the subject in 3 different ways. where's the uncut version?
ОтветитьNo way! When your worlds collide <3
ОтветитьThey got me for a while with protein pudding (choc, jelly in US?) but it never really did that thing protein should do. Keep me satiated and not going for that Snickers bar.... After an hour I was hungry again.
Of course, it is whey. I never really got into the why.. Skyr (6x kcal with 11ish g of protein) works for me, esp. with some berries and or nuts. To me perfect Breakfast or even meal if I need a quick one. Casein is great. Whey to, but not like that. Great for training etc...
Great show and I loved seeing Dr Mike. My 10year old daughter alsp rally liked the logo in the background byt wished the back board was a large slice of bread.
ОтветитьInsane crossover
ОтветитьI LOVE the pairing of fitness with Mythical, honestly. Having Dr. Mike, Jeff Nippard, Will Tennyson, or Jesse James West would all make fantastic guests on last meals
Ответить🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉🇵🇸🍉
ОтветитьThe cross over I didn't think I wanted, but definitely needed
ОтветитьI want Mike on Last Meals. Let's make it happen!
ОтветитьI think the best way to go about it is to understand roughly how much protein you get from the meal. Once you get a basic understanding, start eyeballing. If you miss out on X amount of protein a meal, life moves on. It's no big deal. The amount will matter if you do it as a profession, 90% of us probably don't.
ОтветитьTwo of my worlds crashing together. Love this!
ОтветитьDude, Mike is everywhere now.
ОтветитьLove the Dr. Mike involvement. It's great. is he next to guest on GMM? LOL
ОтветитьDR MIKE 😭
ОтветитьI have a kidney disease and I'm not supposed to have more than about 4 ounces of protein a day. I'm always putting things back on the shelf that say they are high in protein.
ОтветитьI did not see this crossover coming but I’m so glad it happened. Josh and Dr Mike especially are a great combo
ОтветитьWhen I was pregnant I went to a nutritionist, they told me 70-80 grams of protein a day was great to maintain my health AND grow a baby. We eat WAY more protein than we need. Especially if you're not a body building large man.
ОтветитьThe craziest thing about all that junk food is, at least for me, the less often I eat it, the less I think about eating it or wanting it. Then when I do eat it, it tastes great but then I feel even more gross than when I would eat it daily or every other day.
ОтветитьI don't know about young fit athletic people with healthy kidneys.
But large amounts of protein is stressing on the kidneys. So anyone with kidney disease or at risk of kidney disease, such as diabetics need to check with their doctors.
MY WORLDS ARE COLLIDING
ОтветитьHolding out for nicole this episode stay strong gurl ✊
ОтветитьNot my favorite guest. Hope people enjoyed it, though.
ОтветитьDR MIKE!!!!!! OMFG!!!!
Ответитьif you are keto, depending on the specific foods you eat, taking some metamusil is likely a good thing because you are likely not getting as muchmuch fiber as desired. I’m a vegetarian and get tons ofof fiber-but indrink a protein shake to supplement what I eat.
Ответитьteaching people to cook (home ec) should be a requirement in high school.
ОтветитьEveryone in these comments: omg Dr Mike this is amazing!
Me: who?
Dr. Mike was as non-inappropriate as I've ever seen him...
ОтветитьMythical Kitchen and Dr. Mike! Did I just die and go to heaven?
ОтветитьAnything y'all say should not be taken seriously since you believe a hotdog is a sandwich.
ОтветитьHallelujah!!! I'm favored and blessed with $60,000 every week! Now I can afford anything and also support the work of God and the church.
