DIY Sandblasting Cabinet

Very nice set up! . I've been playing with this idea for a while but couldnt figure out the flanges for the gloves so thank you for that . I work as a diesel tech at a shop with fredom to use it as I please but live in an apartment and think this is a good and portable way to prep my guns for cerakote at work without wasting all the media and keeping some extra in my ears lol I was thinking about a bigger tote though... great video but could use a little editing around the repetitive steps

I suggest next time you use glass instead of plexiglass. Glass is MUCH easier to cut and will last longer in the sandblaster because it will not be abraded as easily as the plexiglass.

Hi, what compressor do you have? I’m looking to do the same exact setup, but not sure if I need to get a 20+ gal tank set up. I was looking into the kobalt 26g quiet tech.

If you ever need to replace the plexiglas, They sell a cutter that works by scoring the plastic. It works well and is very inexpensive. As others have suggested, glass would last longer. The glass can be secured with some flat metal pieces that overlap the glass and the lid.

i was planning to build a wooden box and all the stuff for probably one time use! you saved me from a lot of work since i had laying around same kind of storage container printed some airvent and glove adapters on the 3d printer and i am set thanks to you!!
