Hi, I'm just starting out and I wanted to ask you what is the pouring medium and the silicone used for? is it okay if I don't use the pouring medium? and how do I know how much to put and when to use them. Thanks

Hello. I tried to make an experience. I used hair gel with dimethicone, but it did not work. The paints were left with small bubbles of the gel. Other colors used of liquitex medium.
First failed experience... ☹️

Amazing! Did you mix something with paints in bottles? You didn't use fire torch, so you got cells just because of 3-in One silicone , right?

Take a paint brush with the same colour as where your cracks are and paint them in. Nobody will notice.

was this 27 minutes of absolutely nothing?
yes , yes it was......i think , cause i skipped to about 27 minute mark...........
if you died though....... wouldn't be able to upload , . isn't necessarily a bad thing:/.
you have stuff all around with no catch tray:/
your end result looks wonderful!!!!!You should fix those little issues , then put a 8th inch thick coating of clear rein over the top, then wrap a strip of LED's around the border (thickness of the clear resin) shining inward to self light it;)..better yet with UV LED's shinin in with using 1 florescent paint color mixed in(doesn't need to be a day visible color , they have clear UV reactive "colors"only visible under blacklight).

I was wondering from your mentioning it in this video, if you have ever come up with a good solution for finishing the painting with silicone added. I'd love to be able to give mine a really nice shine with a varnish but I know this won't work out. I've heard of washing with soap and water but I'm juts not confident this will work.

Hi, tried to do this today but only achieved tiny bubbles/cells, more just the paint and not with blow torch. What am I doing wrong? Would like to create very large as well as small bubbles/cells. I am using acrylic paint, some household interior paint for some colours; pouring medium and silicone
