Antrim and Down are Counties, not countries, The city is actually in the North of Ireland, but perhaps he's not checked it out on a map or understood the usual title of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The city is indeed on the eastern side of the Province, but that's not the same thing as "the eastern side of Ireland!"

Ok, went there this weekend. Good things: You have great restaurants coming out of your ears! Great pubs, I recommend the Sunflower pub, they have live music nearly every day. Great cafes. Beautiful graffitis, lots of fun places to visit including the Titanic museum. Negatives, the weather of course, the city is very industrial so you do have quite ugly bits. I big population of the girls wear fake eyelashes, not a nice look. Overall, I will recommend visiting Belfast 👍🏿👍🏿

Was in Belfast just b4 covid. Saw some of these sites, but found most interesting and not on this list Crumlin Road Jail. Tours are well done, inexpensive, and well worth a couple of hours.
