Obviously this was not a particularly realistic portrayal of what one on many fighting would look like. But it was an amazing portrayal of how a fighting style that is generally considered to be defensive can be turned lethal when the situation calls for it. Wing Chun is a tool meant for self defense, but that doesn't mean it can't be used to seriously maim or even kill you.

This scene itself is great but the build up to it it even better. Also my japanese is not good but i noticed the guy beside the general calling the troops by the number (second, third and skips to fifth) probably cause of number 4 superstition in japan, i thought it was a nice touch
