These are cool. I purchased a 16" light globe fixture with the soul purpose of using it as a bowl mold. Had not considered adding little resin pieces until I saw this magic! This is just so perfect!
ОтветитьCool and unique piece. Love it!
ОтветитьGreat idea, perfect for a Halloween bowl 😎
ОтветитьThe whole thing turned out beautiful! Love the technique! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьDoes that silicone smell like strong vinegar
ОтветитьWow that is brilliant love the red 😘
ОтветитьAnother great idea Steve..:)
ОтветитьI Love This! I am all about Skulls & Halloween 🥰
ОтветитьLove it Steve Halloween is so fun have a happy healthy safe day💎😀
ОтветитьFabulous! Love the red glitter and all the creepy crawlies. If you let your base cure a tad too long, you can zap it with the heat gun after you put it on your form and it will be more malleable, then tape it down. Your bowl turned out great.
ОтветитьThis was so cool I will have to try that very soon
ОтветитьI love free forming Steve! Beautiful colour on this. Will probably look to do something like this for christmas
ОтветитьGreat Bowl TYFS😁💯👍🏾
ОтветитьLove this spooky bowl, looks excellent.
ОтветитьDo you have a tutorial on how you done the hands and other halloween moulds ? Spiders ??
ОтветитьHow do you clean your syringe I think you called it a pipette? I'm from us and just getting into this so I'm not sure what things are called or what the best way to do anything is, yet! Lol love how this turned out tho
ОтветитьWhy doesn't anyone heat their resin to shape it? It works so much better when bending. On the 5 min epoxy...i would have started on the inside w stuff that wouldn't slip w smaller amounts of epoxy.the working around edges as it thickened.
ОтветитьYAY Halloween!!! THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!
Where did you get your witch and ghost molds?? I have the same set with the coffin, bats, tree, owl, spider, pumpkin and skeleton hand but no witch or ghosts!
Great bowl.
ОтветитьStephen, thats utterly fabulous. I love how you make something absolutely unique - love it, and added to my list od things to try :-) as you can imagine after watching your video tutorials, I have quite a long list haha x
ОтветитьGreat bowl Steve, I'm sure the kids will love it :)
ОтветитьOh WOW THAT TURNED OUT AMAZING!!!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥 hello Steve I am trying to catch up on your videos. I have been away for a while with a terrible neck injury, and I see all your new supporters, that put a huge smile on my face. I have been spreading your videos and introducing all my family to you, they just love you and your personality!!!!!!! A few of my nieces have even picked up resin, they love your projects so they are on this amazing journey with you to learn the in’s and out’s of the art! They wanted me to guide them, but told them they have to watch Steve McDonald’s videos and give a thumbs up on them! Don’t worry they are subscribers😆. They are art majors in college so they are having a blast! I help when I can. Well I guess I better get back to catching up on your videos, you take care and Happy Halloween 🎃!!!! 🥰
ОтветитьLove this video, how much resin did you use for the bowl. Thanks.
ОтветитьWhat resin did you use for the bowl please?
ОтветитьSteve another great video the silicone u used said in the description box it was multi purpose silicone does it not have to be 💯 silicone as other people I’ve watched said it does and it’s quite hard to get hold of and expensive. Many thanks 😊
ОтветитьIt looks like Dorothy's slippers! Thanks for the video--I love your channel!
ОтветитьHey Steve here's a tip. Don't throw out you silicone scraps you can use them to fill space when making other silicone molds. Also if you had used a heat gun on your too cured resin bowl it would have became a little more playable .
Love your tutorials and your accent.
Thanks
Such a shame you’ve got the lines from the cling film on the inside of the bowl. Would’ve loved it to be as smooth and shiny as the outside which is gorgeous
ОтветитьExcellent! I'll be doing this next Halloween!
ОтветитьI love this Steve. I'm new to resin and have learned so much from you, Thank you very much X
Ответить😂"and that looks more like a square." Lmao!
ОтветитьI like the shape it came out
ОтветитьGreat Halloween bowl! Also, great tip on using the silicone for the edge. I now have no excuse to not try this. Thanks!
Ответить“Bob’s your uncle, who’s your aunt?” 😂 Sorry, as an Okie from the Sooner state, I’ve never heard that one before. As a huge fan of Halloween, I think tis is spooktacuar!
ОтветитьI absolutely love your channel, you have saved me hundreds of dollars worth of mistakes I would have made if it weren’t for you.
I have tried to make a small bowl and it would not keep its shape. So I was wondering what the thinnest thickness is on the bowl? Thank you so much.❤️
I can't draw a circle for shit.. lol. So I use the old geometry circle drawing tool sort of set up but use two long sticks for large circles with a pen taped to the end of one of em.
ОтветитьI just might have to make 1 of these fire my oldest. She has her own place n the city n in sure she'll have trick-or-treaters this year
ОтветитьSo glad I've joined im loving all this fun
Ответитьwow I really like that bowl a LOT! The color and the shape. It's wonderful
Ответитьcan you use glue gun instead of silicon?
Ответитьcan you use the 2 hr drying resin by KS Resin
