Rivals of Aether have a thing called workshop… if you think this game has a lot of custom sprites. I think you need to check them out! Also that game is a lot of fun

Arin should really check out Rivals of Aether if he doesn't know about it; great platform fighter with great pixel art and animation(and hundreds of custom characters).

Fully custom fighters is the future of fighting games IMO. Smash has a ton of gaming IP, that warner bros one and nick all stars have a ton of TV IP, an indie fighting game can have the best physics in the world but that's hard to sell. They also can create awesome OCs but can't make nearly as big a roster as smash on a budget, and the characters won't sell as well either so letting people make their own characters is definitely the way to go for bringing in an audience. Then they don't have to worry about game balance either and can focus purely on a fun fighting game rather than a competitive one (they can be both, but that's very hard)

Are we all finding out that the reason Dan isn’t good at smash because no one ever explained the game and how to play it? Arin “Skip the Tutorial” Hanson back at it again.

I'm more of a Tekken cat myself, but I am absolutely CHARMED by all the GG references put into every move. The creator(s) put their whole ass into it and I LOVE IT. Gotta try the game for myself.
