I've always wanted to use colors to rate type of vibe at a glance but didn't because didn't realize you could rename them..of course didn't even think to just double click on it 😅

I'm sure this video was super informative and full of valuable tips and tricks. Shame I had to turn it off half way through because of the constant jokes that weren't even a little funny made me roll my eyes and tap out. The first 10 were almost tolerable. The next 50 were overkill. I'm sure this video would have 3x the views if it wasn't so painfully annoying. Get to the point man

I’m blind but want to start mixing in clubs and bars, this vid is actually so helpful. I can’t use the CDJ menu, so just jamming a USB in and let it just magically go to what I need is awesome!

Also, as soon as you finish your set you can upload a setting that will make the decks almost unusable for whoever's next up, thereby making you look even more talented in comparison!

Relax, it's just a joke. I'd never do this IRL. My true mindset is all that matters is the music and the vibe, both of which I have respect for and want positive. If we can raise the collective waters then all boats rise. One love!

I'd say one of the most important ones to change is "play mode / auto play mode" to "single / off" (as you already did). I once played on decks where the player would start playing the next song after the current song ended. That was what made me set up my preferences via Rekordbox to avoid situations like that again.

I thought this was gonna be for people coming from vinyl, digital djs are just not cool, nerdsville arizona

Great video, thanks for making it. Question, after you load these settings, do you have to keep the usb stick in the deck during your set or can you save the settings and remove the stick and use it to set the other deck ?

Beat jump beat value? Is there just + and - beat jump buttons on those things? With fixed values?

I use an age old Xone:DX and I got the beat jump value behind an encoder. Also pitch is done with an encoder with 0.01 BPM per step, or a bit rougher when the encoder is pressed and turned and shift+turn for tempo range. I really can't figure out why any modern digital thing that has the ability to display the BPM should have the pitch on a slider.

It seems there is no way to get a modern day compact controller with the same amount of encoders, buttons and inputs/outputs as the A&H has. I'd just want better resolution, less delay, and a proper sounding key lock (just a newer version of Traktor), as I've had the setup since 2014, when I got them for free... But ok, I would also want at least one or two more VU-leds for the channel VU's.

Is there a way to get any of the other tabs other than DJ system to replicate automatically to the USB drives at all? Does my head in that I need to change other tabs per USB device.

Nicely edited video, and great tips, but where's the hack? This is just part of the functionality of Rekordbox and CDJS. It's power user stuff at best.

Is it not possible to adjust the column "My Settings" without the CDJ plugged in? It looks like the settings are only listed and it's not possible to toggle them.
