ОтветитьI cried saying everything to my therapist she just watched me crying. She doesn't care about me. She just smiles. I said to her i couldn't sleep, she haven't helped anything about that. Just suggested me to do breathing exercises
ОтветитьWhat about having PTSD with memory loss which the recommendation is CBT. This wont help when your amblagada fear center part of your brain is overactive and you Hippocampus is shruken.

ОтветитьCBT in a nutshell: "What we THINK and what we DO influence what we FEEL."
ОтветитьCBT - something that we can use to change a negative cycle. It can work & is a process of challenging your thought - Is the thought real? What evidence do you have the thought is real? Can we change the negative thought to a helpful thinking style? - example: Believing others don't like us can make someone feel upset & hurt, and our behavior is to get upset, angry or to lash out.... But what if our thought was not based on a FACT! If it's just based on a feeling (feelings aren't fact - feelings don't last - feelings change) Instead of believing something negative, trying to change the thought by CHALLENGING that thought (not every negative thought is real or false- hence we challenge it) Once we challenge a negative thought & discover if it's real, - if not real, we can put in the process of trying to change how we react. (we can only control our own actions & reactions- We cannot control how others act or react) Negative thoughts are often automatic & this takes practices, but it does work. We can also change how we act & react to real situations, how we think & address these by using CBT

ОтветитьCBT changed my life. It's definitely good for people with hard childhoods. After treatment, I have male friends, my mom and I have a great relationship, and im a better father. If you're interested, stop looking at videos.. go find a Dr!
ОтветитьMy best friend has been through horrible trauma. She needs CBT but she claims it doesn't work for her. She claims she goes to therapy regularly but I know she's not. The person has to be willing. I'm afraid she'll never get better.

We r here with u!! I’m from 818, San Fernando Valley, Southern California. 42/M/ married 8 years…..In a nutshell, 5 ERs (overdoses of Crystal Meth, Legit Paranoia Panic Attacks)..51/50, 2 and a half years of absolute horrifying paranoia terror in my mind every moment of the day as it was a secret behind my wife’s back…I found out imaginary evils that are in curable, and I had a lot of imaginary evils that were killing me every fucking moment, I deserved all the horrible pain that I had coming at the time, as Karmic Debt was drilling me….But I’m now on the other side (after years of agony and so much therapy and so many different facilities and losing just about everything)…the 2.5 years of mental rape which absolutely Sucked Sooo bad and was absolutely TERRIFYING….Kaiser Psychologist sent me as I wasn’t even On drugs, just trippin on the effects of the meth and grimy acts I was doing behind everybody’s back including my wife’s)…2 treatment centers, 2 Ambulance Rides. Investigated by 🚓 , multiple IOPS’s, different doctors telling me I need another doctor, Therapists, Psychologists, Suicidal Actions!!🌅. Meth, very hard alcoholic (drunk by 8am, Jameson from the bottle, IPAs, wine)…8 months prior to my check in 5/31/21 to Gooden Center In Pasadena..my moms slow death (infection was in stomach, watched her scream to death, literally)…it destroyed me, but somehow I’ve made it to the other side, for now..I’m now dealing with legit anger and depression, my coping skills are saving my life, along with all of you!! I’m here to chat if anybody needs help ⭐️

So, does one focus on a specific aspect depending upon the person's circumstances and needs? It all appears very circular.
