Before beauty apps were a thing...

There are some women and men who are born naturally gorgeous and do not need photoshop and touch ups like this. Most models don't need this much photoshop anyhow so this ad is a bit deceptive.

To be honest, this woman wouldn't necessarily be a model or your typical model for a beauty or fashion ad. So I think this ad is unfair. It also an attempt to take cheap shots at models and pretty women to feed the jealousy and hatred that the general public has towards attractive people.

The better message would be to teach people to stop being jealous of those women and men who won the genetic lottery. And to find something else positive in your life (ie education, volunteering, mentoring etc) to focus on other than obtaining beauty if you aren't born with it. Sorry, I have just always thought this ad send bad message since it aired years ago.
