Jimny won our hearts, I was rooting for the underdog and it didn't disappoint with it's road tyres. Jimny won for me and saved a lot of dollars

What does it really matter how fast a 4WD vehicle can get from point A to B over a few hundred meters?

Mabey, I didn't pay enough attention, but it seems the Jimny was put through its paces with just road tires, which of course would have limited its traction when compared to the other test cars.

Driven Jeeps for over 40 years. It is the standard. Plain and simple. What do you think? What vehicle did Ford attempt to copy from one end to the other? It wasn’t the Jimney and it wasn’t the G63. Where’s the FJ? Oh the don’t make it any more. The Fourunner? Maybe? Because they’re both insanely expensive to accessorize. Ram trucks? Your joking. They don’t belong on the same trail! I own both.

Being a draw, that little Suzuki wins as it won’t break the bank. Get a used one for cheaper and put some proper tires on it. Now, I can’t believe you couldn’t get a rubicon to climb that hill. Something wrong with the driver. G wagon could use better off-road tires but it is too expensive

Outfit all 3 however you want with whatever parts are available, take em through the toughest trails in the western United States... You'll be using the that Rubicon to pull the other two back out. That so-called "off-road test" was a joke.

The last race up the hill was manipulated in favor of the Mercedes in order to justify its price and name! With the Jeep, the gentleman only turns on the gas in the hill when it's too late because you can't pass at such a low speed! And the first race was also manipulated because the Jeep was deliberately slowed down to lose, but it has the best tires! We all know that Jeep, especially the Wrangler, is the king of SUVs, and we insiders all know how its system works and what it can do!!

As always - if you have the money - G Wagon. Otherwise - Land Cruiser. The rest are irrelevant.

You chose the heaviest jeep, with the smallest engine, to compare. You should have had two jeeps, a 2door Willys and a 4door rubicon 4xe. Even a 392 would be cheaper than the gwagon

That jeep would have made that hill climb I don’t know what was going on but that Rubi definitely won that test and I don’t know what settings you had on but I’ve seen jeeps climb taller hills than that bullcrap test

G was the best

The Jimny (and all the other small Suzuki 4WDs) does well due to its low weight. I love my Vitara, it goes up ATV trails (I think you guys call them quadrunners?) and is very nimble
The Wrangler would have done better if he had picked a higher gear, he was going too slow. The transfer case is geared so low at 4:1;1st gear in low range is for rock crawling, he would have been better off in 2nd or even 3rd for that hill.
