Looking Back At Nike Irons | Why Do People Still Love Them?

I just picked up a set of used Machspeed SQs for $175 and can’t wait to try them. Do you have any experience with those?

I think there are still beautiful clubs, never thought it was ugly clubs at all even today, hope there are coming back in the clubs industry.

The Vrs irons bring back so many memories. Those bad boys were the easiest irons I’ve ever hit. I still play the vapor fly irons which are the last set Nike made. I don’t see myself switching into something newer anytime soon.

I got a set of VRS Covert on sale new for $125. Even though they had the wrong flex shaft in them I still bought them. They are long and hit the ball very high. Love those irons. Still play them and haven’t restarted them yet. Lol

got these 4 through Approach wedge at a club repair shop for 80 bucks

I recently bought a set of Nike Slingshot 4D irons. They maybe old but so am I. They are perfectly weighted.

Nike SQ hybrids were the TRUTH! Easiest to hit clubs ever. Wish I had tried their irons

Currently playing the Nike SQ Machspeed Black square driver. It's pretty loud compared to more recent drivers but I hit it straighter and more consistently than other drivers. Used to play the Nike VRS irons, but am currently playing Taylormade P790.

Just bought a Vapor Speed 4 Iron for my set. I own 2 different Vapor drivers. 😁

I love their clubs! Really bummed that they won't give it another go at golf.

I bought VRSx irons when I was in high school. Still use them today & love them.

I got the vapors and they are just too easy.... makes you feel like u can hit the 3 iron consistently, but you cant.

Played some of my best golf with Nike Tour Reds... man those were sledgehammers !

Nike VR forged 3-pw.Very underrated irons. Nike nailed it with this set. Classic look and absolutely worth it if you can find a set in good condition.

I found a set of Nike SQ sumo graphite for $3 each. They look brand new. I love them!

My local dicks sporting goods has a set of those irons for $150. PW-5i

I'm using a covert 2.0 Black Driver, SQ Sumo 3 Wood and 5 Wood 2.0 Covert Irons Victory 56 Wedge and a Method putter and play Nike Rzn black and Nike One Your golf balls haha

I have a set of Nike Vapor speed irons, I prefer to play with them over my M6 irons and 790 irons. I like how Nike made their club heads on their irons more bulky and stiff compared to other irons. I think Nike’s golf clubs were in their peak or prime during the 2014-2016 era.
