I have a lot of problems with Xenoblade 2 as a game, but the soundtrack is absolutely untouchable. Mitsuda is a master.
Ответитьthe bassline HIT im just saying
ОтветитьIt’s so nice to hear this amazing song without the tinnitus tone in the background.
ОтветитьI loved how in Agate's Blade Quest you come here, and because their tech is premodern they can't figure out what the World Tree is actually made of
ОтветитьSomehow it sounds like a Risk of Rain soundtrack.
ОтветитьDefinitely in my top 5 (maybe top 3) final area themes ever
ОтветитьThe whole game, i was just eager to get to the world tree and see elysium for myself, hoping that it would be lush paradise.
When i got there, to the world tree, i thought, no this can't be it.
And then i finally got to elysium...
I think that scene with Rex's doubts resonate with me more than it normally would.
I spent dozens upon dozens of hours on this quest and for what? For nothing?
The ties to XC1 made it all worth it! The OST in this act of the game is wonderful too.

I love how the very end of this track includes Zanza's leitmotif. Such a cool way to foreshadow the big reveal
This is where it's at
ОтветитьThe theme of fighting tables, motorbikes, gonk droids and Bakugan.
ОтветитьIt kinda gives me marooned by pink floyd vibes
ОтветитьThis music gives me PTSD of dieing to a random level 80 boss
Ответитьover the entire game rex changed from a naive dreamer that knew too little about everything to someone who has deep understanding of the world and the people around him and who would stop at nothing to keep them all safe
ОтветитьYall ever think about the people who dropped this game for its fanservice and never knew whats Xenoblade 2's true colours were.
Cause this whole area was surreal in the best way possible.
I don't know how to put into words what I felt traveling in the world tree for my first time. It is such an awesome feeling in so many ways, your beliefs of what it is were completely shifted upon entering the place, the song is amazing and probably my personal favorite of the whole OST, everything you see makes sense in the world that you are in and my GOD the titan battle looks great. There's so much to say about just this one area alone, it has become one of the best moments when it comes to gaming in general for me and I don't know if I would have wanted it any other way.
Ответитьi love the blend of synths and instruments in this track
leaving the surreal feeling that the world tree indeed is just a mechanical tower i was so immersed when i got to this part
i was in awe and couldnt believe what reality was
the land we been roaming above the sea if clouds... while elysium was just a mechanical oasis of the land of morytha what earth used to be
If you think about it, this is peak elevator music.
ОтветитьDRUMSSSSS
ОтветитьThe beauty of this track made me for the first time ever in my life of playing videogames, just put down the controller and listen.
ОтветитьI'll never forget the impact this section of the game had on me, I had no clue of Xenoblade 1's story so Malo's Monado and Morytha was such a shock to me. And then finally making it to the world tree, only to find a series of sci-fi systems in this fun JRPG was so surreal.
ОтветитьWe makin it outa Yggdrasil with this one 🔥🔥❗❗
ОтветитьThat guitar lick is probably considered a war crime under the Geneva convention
ОтветитьWorld tree called yggdrasil? Sounds familiar.
ОтветитьThis reminds me so much of halo lmaooooo
ОтветитьAnd this being the final step in your journey is why 2 will forever be above 3
ОтветитьThey really know how to make strange places feel strange.
ОтветитьBest final stage level in Xenoblade.
Has every single element of what makes a god-tier OST. Choir + Gorgeous melodic electric guitar + The somber and atmospheric strings.
It's like a reminiscence of the 20th anniversary version of "Bares Fangs at God".
This was the peak of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 for me. The reveal, the buildup, the amazing, ominous theme with the guitar and the Elysium church bell sound in the background as the cherry on top. Definitely vibin' hard right about now
Ответитьwhat would one call this genre of music? the very calming electric guitar and choir in the background?
ОтветитьThis song sounds so heavenly
ОтветитьI knew this was gonna be a banger because of the Mechonis Field tune from 1.
ОтветитьXenoblade 2 definitely handled the science fiction aspect of Xeno the best in the blade games... 1 and X are cool but not very subtle, and 3 just wasn't very sci-fi at all lol
ОтветитьI am a s c e n d i n g to this damn choir
ОтветитьWhen saw the world tree
It gave me war flash black
Like not again!!
Indol has become a hostile power.
ОтветитьAnd this is still unmatched. Xenoblade 3 couldnt really stand against the whole Twist from Xenoblade 2.
ОтветитьReminds me a lot of risk of rain music
ОтветитьI can't decide whether I like this or Origin more
ОтветитьUpon hearing the theme you knew this was the end game. But when that guitar rift came in, you knew this was going to end in a bombastic fashion
ОтветитьThis >>>>>>>>>>> origin
ОтветитьThe use of bass lines here really make me think of chrono trigger and it's final dungeon. It is the same composer so ig that makes sense
ОтветитьI want thedooo to cover this but I know he never will
ОтветитьThe guitar is very Digital Devil Saga-ish
Ответить
