I think the scanners checking for the way someone walks do their analysis completely, then check it against the database. That's why Ethan putting the chip in at the last second is ok.

Tom Cruise has to damn near kill himself in a stunt to get sins erased. Rebecca Ferguson can get sins erased with a well placed leg shot.

The motorcycle crash makes perfect sense if you actually put as much time into analyzing the scene as the sin suggests. First, Ethan knocks him over to our right. The guy turns the handlebars that way to get the bike back underneath him. They show a few frames of this before the cut to him falling to our left. In those few frames, it's very clear that he over corrected. Now the bike is too far to the right, causing him to tip to the left. The problem is, he still has forward momentum and is sliding down the road. The road takes a sharp turn to the right, meaning the now uncontrolled slide takes him to the opposite side of the road.

Like, I understand a lot of the sins are just jokes. I never complain about those. But it would be really interesting to sit down with you sometime while you're making a script and point out how many times you miss something, because it seems like a lot. There are plot holes that are fully explained, and physics that works exactly the way it's supposed to in many of your videos.

Did you miss the part about the other assassins in the opera house weren't there to Assassinate the guy? they were there to kill Ilsa if she didn't prove herself. Syndicate wanted the guy dead, and to prove Ilsa was loyal. They send the goons to kill her if she fails, and the bomb to kill the guy if, again, she fails. Not that convoluted.

I like how Benji went from minor character to secondary protagonist in this movie. He's my favourite character of this movie imho.

One of my favorite parts of this series has always been the lack of firearms in the hands of the protagonists, it helps facilitate much more creative action scenes than we typically get in spy movies.
