If you struggle to tie your own rigs or you want to move away from ready made rigs, this one is for you. It's based on the multi rig so it’s easy to tie and you can re-use the material time and time again and just change your bait and your hook. Unlike a traditional multi rig, it’s made with braid so you can easily put it into a solid PVA bag and you'll get a good presentation over a wide variety of bottom types even if you’re not a great caster. Anglers at Beausoleil have been using this rig for the last 2 years and everyone’s got on very well with it. It’s caught some amazing carp from the venue and it’s helped anglers keep their fishing simple, effective and reliable.
ОтветитьHi, great video……would this suit a PCs mesh bag rather than a solid bag?
Thx
I didn't know about this ring replacement trick you did with the bait. Thanks!!!
Ответитьthank you very much deeply. I watch your channel from Iraq I wish you sometimes share us some information about fishing in Asia and what baits can we use, because I think the different weather may influence on the carp. best wishes
ОтветитьThank you for this great how to.
ОтветитьHi Matt, im fairly new to carp fishing and found this rig great! Could i use a ring with a screw on to attach bait instead of cutting and blobbing the mono?
ОтветитьI tried it this weekend on a helicoper setup - 20 cm hook link - here my statistics: Losses: 1x, Know when I am done: 3x (so GREAT), Fish & all hooked in the bottom lip: 4x. It really helps having a dyneema leader instead those melting very smooth ones. I fished it with crank choddy and crank x from Korda. worked for both when the loop sleeve is a bit longer (till hook point) for having a larger hook loop.
Thank you so much for this rig! :-D
Thank you for your thoughts and idea behind this rig! One word: awesome! :-)
ОтветитьThat’s slip d not multi right ?
ОтветитьWould you still use this 13cm rig folded into a solid bag? Seems quite long for a solid bag rig. Thanks
ОтветитьTop Man 👍 keep up your amazing channel Matthew 👊
ОтветитьHi which mono rig do you think is best the hair or the d rig thanks
ОтветитьWould this be ok for UK Catfish.
ОтветитьHey Matthew. Do you think this rig can be tied with a soft coated hooklink?
Great video as always 👍🏼
Could I use a small ring and dental floss instead of the mono ?
ОтветитьMatthew would like take this time to thank you for your uploads it's much appreciated and you have improved my fishing and now seeing bigger and more regularly fish on the bank 🎣
ОтветитьCould you use this rig on a helicopter set up?
ОтветитьThe claw nash hook is all I use now best hooks out there
ОтветитьHello Matthew, i just ran into your video's and I must say they are very interesting and usefull. One question, why a chod twister instead of a regular twister?
ОтветитьDeste te saxbe. Seet xewş
ОтветитьHi Matt, I’ve noticed you use 35lb for hooklink but you use 20lb mainline. Is carp fishing different as you would normally use a weaker hooklink than your mainline in course fishing?
ОтветитьBeste matthew welke haakmaat gebruikt u en welke maat blowback tube gebruikt u gr danny
ОтветитьCan you tell me what rig box you have? Thanks
ОтветитьYou will have a video on hook sharpening? Regards Kornel
ОтветитьThanks you Sar
ОтветитьWould you think this rig is better than your 'mono hair rig' in terms of hooking fish?
ОтветитьHi Matt love the channel mate!,
I’ve taken so much advice on board from you since I started carp fishing.
Just a quick question
I’m using the same Nash lead inserts as you, but They’re a bit of a sloppy fit in the fox inline leads that I’m using, offering no resistance to hook a fish, do you have any tricks I could use to make it more of a tight fit to give me the one shake to release it method?
Cheers mate
Wayne
Another great video … could you use bait floss instead of the mono line on the hook bait ?
ОтветитьHi Matthew, love the running inline lead setup, but.. is it safe when the line breaks? F.e. With the heli the carp is left with just the rig. Looking forward to your answer, best regards Nicolas
ОтветитьAfter watching the video Matt, I changed to this set up with a wafter and my loss rate went down considerably. Wife loves how simply the rig is and how effective. excellent Vid.
ОтветитьThe benefit of being able to change the hook so easily has sold me this rig, plus simply using mono rather than rig rings or micro swivels saves £££ on components , does exactly the same job, and less clutter can only make it slightly harder for the carp to identify.
I believe almost all well known rigs works so effectively it makes little difference which one is used and is more down to confidence and personal experience,
👍👍👍
ОтветитьBig jop thank you
ОтветитьHi Matthew, great video as usual. With regards to the blowback tube, can you use normal tubing or is it stiffer than that? Thanks and keep up the good work!
ОтветитьGreat videos as usual from you Matt.
This is David (aka Mickey on here). Hope you’re now converted on the jet flame lighter lol. I know it works out more expensive, but more convenient. No more wrecked hook-links in windy conditions.
Why not just leave the bait off till you have the rig attached to the swivel then put it on rather than needing to make an extremely large loop to pass the bait through when you could just make a loop small enough to pass the hook through then attach the bait?
ОтветитьDoes hook matters in pop up rigs? Then which type of hook is good? I'm using a curved shank hooks for my pop up rigs!
ОтветитьCan you make this rig with normal hooks as well as chod style hooks? Just wondered if it would be more aggressive with normal style hooks? Great informative video like always 👍 your videos help so many people. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you Matthew, I made a few of these rigs up at home ready for this weekend. Needless to say I'm sat here on the bank and I have landed two fish. I lost a bit of confidence in my fishing before this. You have helped loads. Inspiration is the word 😃 I even went and bought a hook sharpening kit. How easy do we overlook these things! Once again Thanks.
ОтветитьMr Collins i have a question..
Is the palm test a sure method to check a hook set?....cause ive tied an exact replica of one of your other rigs but it wont turn on the palm test and hook...i am using a .40mm braid as the hook line..is it perhaps the braid that is too stif or is the palm test not a sure way to check?..im using a classic boilie hook from Docks..
Thanx in advance👌👌👌
Hey Matt, just a quick question do you think there's much difference between using the blow back tube or fine silicone tubing?
ОтветитьHeyy guy are u sell them hook rig or it for show people how to make?? l would like but some off u of u like, sell me some
ОтветитьIs a single over hand loop strong enough?
ОтветитьWhy not put a mini rig swivel or ring ?
ОтветитьThank you for the quality content you provide it has greatly improved my angling.
ОтветитьHi matt. Thanks for all you tips. I've learnt loads.
Recently I've been fishing a drainage sewer , where I've seen monster carp .
It's extremely narrow , 12ft or so , and weedy. Maybe 5ft deep .
There's a few clear spots in the weed . The bait is practically under the rod tip .
Been using a naked helicopter rig with maize . I've had a take , but the fish spat me out .
Could you give me any pointers please on presentation? What would you do in this situation?
Cheers mate .
Hi Matt, how would that multi rig set up work as a combi rig on the end of some stiff link, and perhaps fished with a cut down lead clip fished running style?
ОтветитьApsalootly love the loop idea for mounting the bait .
Ответитьwhen would you use this rig vs the mono hair rig you show in another video? keep up the great work
ОтветитьI am fairly new to carp fishing. Currently, I have been using method feeders both fixed and free running inline one's. I wish to up my game and want to try some of your rigs. However, they all seem to use braid, which is banned on most of the lakes I fish, both as a mainline and hook line, also the maximum size hook to use is 10. Can you create your rigs with mono or fluro without any problems. Most of the lakes have fish no bigger than about 30lb. Any advice you can give would be gratefully received and appreciated. Thank you.
