This is defo sped up, sea-side doesn't move that fast and pick up even with scroll wheel down isn't that quick, the items picked up usually linger for 8 frames and these are lasting for 2, even if you were on 24 fps you'd still have 3 or 4 frames of visibility not 2. I'd guess it's 1.25x speed at 24 fps so it's less noticeable.
