Just because you got married and you and she wanted divorce and now she's getting alimony for the rest of her life doesn't mean she deserves it get a job

My parents divorced after 24 years of marriage and my mother got alimony for a good 20 years I think but that was the 1970s.

I will NEVER again be married, especially if they have kids. All mentioned have way too much power. A simple lie on their part means prison or jail even if innocent, cause of the way the law was written, the accused are always GUILTY in the eyes of the law.

My ex tried to get me to accept a settlement that included "alimony for life". I read the as forwarded by my attorney, and told him the only way I'd agree to that settlement was for her to agree to be dead for the purpose of the agreement within one year.

my landlords girlfriend has been getting $1000 a week in alimony and admits that is the reason she won't marry him. he told her last year in the next 5 years if she didn't marry him then she can go back to her husband paying for her entire lifestyle. my landlord has a lot of money and works every day making just under $65/hour and the house, all 3 cars, the side by side, and everything else he owns he owns outright. the only bills he has is electric, food, insurance, ad gas. he also has a 4 car garage here at the house and does work in the evenings and weekends and gets around another $500 or more per week doing this. he was drunk one night telling me this. he said he has a job just over 6 figures (including his personal garage) so there is no reason in his mind why she wants to rob her ex husband every week for $1000.

You should’ve heard the outrage from all the women in my life. Including my mother. I was a hero to all my divorced Buddy’s. I also got half of her retirement because we were married 10 years. I still didn’t leave with hardly any money, but it took care of the debt we had. I walked away, almost penniless but debt-free. Her year later I was thriving.

What the fu*k is "permanent alimony"?? Or Alimony at all. I'm Norwegian, after my divorce I paid child support for the time I didn't have my son, or rather an estimated half of the cost. Women are being paid for being unfaithful in their marriage after the divorce and gets to live off the backs of the husband and she can have another man while the husband struggles to live , I'm glad they banned permanent alimony because it's unfair and the women always put the blame on the patriarchy and truth be told there is no such thing as patriarchy it's all made up by women who hate all men.

There should be No alimony at all. If you choose the end the marriage, then that's your problem. I don't see why us Male's have to pay alimony to females who choose to end relationships.
