Doing every tourist-y thing as possible lol, it pains me as a Thai but I guess its popular for a reason and perhaps unique to Thailand. I never visit Khaosan because it's just a money grab area where they can charge extra cause only foreigners visit that street. Then wearing elephant pants (they're too comfy honestly) but not traditional in any way, though I think more Thai teens are embracing wearing them nowadays cause they're genuinely super comfy. Lastly, Tuktuks, they're overpriced and more of a novelty for foreigners to try and experience but if you ride it for the experience by all means do it but if you want to use it to commute, Taxis, Ride hailing (Grab, Bolt similar to Uber), Buses, Metro are all betters ways to commute (if you're brave enough, you can try the motorcycle taxis too, they get you where you want to be fast but I don't recommend for foreigners since it's not particularly safe).
