Does it do all that damned "blinking" as batt level changes like some of thier lights do? Thats a deal breaker for me!, tryin to finish a job and its starts blinking...
ОтветитьTool Review Tuesday. Thank you
ОтветитьI would like to see that light on m12 cuz ther's somany that tipy likethat and more cheaper and more runtime
ОтветитьThis tool seems like one of those engineer love letter special projects where we didn't need it but they took the extra time to engineer it well, they'll probably even discontinue it
ОтветитьI think I’d still like my pivoting head Milwaukee light more
ОтветитьSince you turned off the lights so nobody would complain, I’m gonna complain because you DID turn off the lights! Clearly you’re a Milwaukee shill who has to turn off the lights to make the new light your pushing look more powerful then it is. The true test is how well it works when the lights are on. Shill😉😂
ОтветитьNot worth $100 gtfo
ОтветитьI got this yesterday and it’s terrible. It has a yellowish soft white light. It’s that yellow lack of brightness that hurts your eyes, reminds me of old flashlight bulbs from the past. It’s Not what I expected, not up to the quality and that white bright that I’m used to. All videos of this light makes it look like a white light, but it’s definitely yellowish. I’d be real surprised if it’s actually 550 lumens. I have a Fenix light that is 250-1000 lumens, and on the 250 lumen setting the Fenix is a lot brighter than the Milwaukee at it’s so called 550 lumens. Milwaukee would have had a winner if they used 2022 bright white LED true 550 lumen technology.
Still a thumbs up for the video!
You also need a hammer and chisel to get into this lights bullet proof cardboard/plastic clamshell, that literally has 50 little plastic dot welds all over it. Talk about ani theft packaging.
ОтветитьThat's an awesome looking light. But those Milwaukee prices though...
Ответить$159 LMAO, Milwaukee needs to lay off the crack pipe
ОтветитьWhat’s the part numbers on the other Milwaukee lights you compared this one too?
Ответитьreally seems overpriced and only 2 hours runtime makes it a "pass" for me. if you need a cheap but long runtime light, i bought the "dr prepare" 400 lumen worklight, look on amazon. its basically the same style, has a magnet on the bottom, runs on 2 18650 batteries (can be upgraded or swapped out as easily as batteries in your tv remote) and i have gotten around 6-7 hours runtime on the flood style light. only downside is the buttons are a little awkward but you get used to them, one power and a - and + for changing the brightness. it also has 2 of the flashlight style lights on the end, all for about $20.
ОтветитьGreat channel. Love watching the reviews!
ОтветитьGreat looking light only thing I would do different is the back side make UV for leak detection with the front side still being the white light
ОтветитьIf this thing runs anything like my other milwaukee red lithium stuff....well enjoy five minutes of run time. I will never purchase another red lithium product again. No matter how cool it looks.
ОтветитьI like the design, but I'll have to wait for a sale to get one as it's a bit pricey, especially considering that many of us already have one or more lights already.
ОтветитьMy same light does not turn on when the battery is fully charged
ОтветитьThe 2128-22 kit only includes 1 battery. That's a departure from the norm.
I may be sending this one back. The dock alone isn't worth an extra $70.
I’ve purchased just the light and it’s amazing. Is there a option to buy just the charger?
ОтветитьHey can you do a review on the new Milwaukee headlight 2163-21
ОтветитьHi there, random question..
I live in Australia, and for whatever reason we can only purchase the light in a kit with the battery and cable, no dock.
I've messaged Milwaukee tool Australia and have just been told that the dock isn't available in our market, even though it's really just usb c and there's no real reason not to have it.
Is it possible to purchase the dock seperately in the US? The part number is 48-59-2128 for the dock as per the parts manual for the light.
Only thing I don’t like about this light it’s yellowish not daylight
ОтветитьI just ordered this since I got the neck light and hate it
ОтветитьJust bought it on sale with little discount, $145 total, and for this money it is a good purchase. Very well thought out light and docking base. This light is basically two in one, flood light and flashlight. Will keep it in my car for any occasions . Love it!
ОтветитьI ordered one fromOhio Power tools, but the dock was not mentioned as an option, thus explains the 2 brass connections on the side... I like the light, but the length of run time is not as good as my Milwaukee headlamp. It is a good light very versatile in confined places. If it was not for the docking charger, it would be just another Milwaukee light.
ОтветитьI bought the -21 from Northern Tool a month ago. I personally feel this tool needs a higher mili-amp battery. Good idea milwaukee has here and give it 7.5 stars
Ответитьthe color temperature is actually better than a blueish white lite on other flashlights in the automotive field anyways. Its more natural looking. The white light tends to reflect off surfaces rather than illuminate surfaces. You just have to get use to it
ОтветитьI have tons of milwaukee lights and I love them but the batteries are only 2 year warranty on USB batteries and the flash light won't charge after a while i use mine everyday but they seem like they dont last very long maybe a charging pad for all the new style lights would be nice
ОтветитьBruh, the rover has way better run time and m12 batteries are easier and faster to swap/charge, no usb ports/cables, just basic m12 charger. Rover still my fav
ОтветитьI think this is my favorite light from Milwaukee.
ОтветитьI usually don’t buy anything that is not on sale, but with this light right here I might just pull the trigger.
I plan on docking it on the wall next my Dyson vacuum collecting 🤦🏻♂️
I want to make it accessible for wifey, two teens and myself. The docking station did it for me, I think it’s just a good idea for the entire family to know where there is a flash light at all times in case of an emergency.
BTW DeWalt guy here 💯
well now %99.9 😂
🤙🏽 review!
PS: NOT HAPPY THAT IT ONLY COMES WITH ONE BATTERY!
I thought I was a cheap F but Milwaukee you take the cake. For the price, common man! YOU SUCK!
This is too expensive for what you get. For the money I would buy an 2 Astro tools 52sl's with the charging base and still be money ahead vs this with the charging base and just an extra battery.
ОтветитьOuch! $150
ОтветитьWhat a nice lamp 🤩Would buy one if I could get it in Germany. But some really good stuff we can't find here.
Ответитьwe get ripped of in Australia they want 189 dollars au over here
ОтветитьThe only thing this torch is missing is a clip for when you put into your pocket
ОтветитьI know it’s expensive and I don’t need it, but this video convinced me to ge the light.. haha. It’s a cool light, sometimes have to treat yourself. Like the charging dock
ОтветитьLots more LED lights with cheaper prices
ОтветитьLet me be the first to say I'm a cheap book especially when it comes to LEDs preferably buying them from China because they're 10% of the price and 90% of the bang but when it comes to quality of light I've noticed a huge difference you may be able to go to cheap light but a quality light like the Milwaukee's the durability of the plastic the tight fitting of everything the swappable batteries and then the actual quality of the color of the light doesn't hurt your eyes or blind you when you're trying to work on something from being too white these lights are worth every penny well I wish they would be cheaper honestly but still worth it. And dear China the biggest grab I have with your goddamn lights get rid of the strobing light feature and the red light feature please just on and off on high on low off That's it That's all the light should have I don't need SOS I don't need flashing strobe party light and nor do I want to click through it when I need a light
ОтветитьBut Tim, can we still have an arguement about the USB-C?
ОтветитьNo doubt it's an amazing tool, but $160 for a flashlight is a bit much.
ОтветитьNow I'm on board with the light IF Milwaukee updates the other lights in their system for wireless charging and type c. The other lights are to expensive without that tech
ОтветитьJust saw the last one at HD for $79 and I had to look it up. The ONE thing I wish it had was the ability to charge other devices. I have a Klein rechargeable light that can do that and compares to this at $40. For a $100 retail it should be able to do that. I do appreciate that Milwaukee is addressing the USB C thing unlike so many other things still stuck on micro. Otherwise it’s is a pretty good design and it feels pretty solid. Compact enough for a tool bag but can light up a room. Perfect for standing up and aiming the inspection beam at something from the floor or countertop like a ceiling fixture.
ОтветитьWhat colors are the light? Is it led white or is it a yellowish light ?
ОтветитьGreat light just under powered. They should have put a duplicate of the 1100lumen torch on the end with adjustable focus, and then also up the lumen on the bar lights to about 950 lumens, that would make for a good light.
Ответитьyes sir lol can never have enough light
ОтветитьAre the batteries 18560? Or are the proprietary to Milwaukee only.
ОтветитьSo I have been searching for just the charger. I have the original charger for the redlithium that I added magnets to I don't think this charger was out yet. I also have the light that didn't come with the charger...didn't know about it. Any idea where you can get just the charger?
ОтветитьI got the tool only before they made the docking station. Lordco said it wasn’t in their inventory and that it was supposed to be shipped back but I got it love it
