Very good video dude! Super clear teaching 🤘🏼
ОтветитьYou are an expert and a teacher so quit saying you're no🤘😆
ОтветитьSo if you're counting eighth notes (1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &) you're playing the Kick and RH (crash/ride) in unison on the 1, the 2&, and the 3&. The snare hits on the 2 and 4. Boom. Beautiful hard core drums. Nice vid.
ОтветитьI'm not a drummer but that's interesting. Does the bass drum play the same thing that the open hat ? I'm not sure.
ОтветитьAwesome guide! Thanks a lot, man!
Ответитьnous ne sommes que la croûte ❤❤❤
ОтветитьThanks you so much! i learn very well how to play dbeat
ОтветитьI had trouble playing it without a cymbal or even floor tom, it guess it sounds weird so i get confused. If anyone has the issue just go ahead and add hi-hat, cymbal or whatever and it should fix it
ОтветитьGreat tutorial 🙏
ОтветитьThanks dude you're inspiring new musicians like myself
ОтветитьFor Phil Taylor the fast double-bass was just a warm-up exercise, not part of any song. One day, Lemmy & Eddie came to the rehearsal, heard Phil doing it. They liked it and said "keep playing!"... and "Overkill" was born (1979 before Ace) The future band Overkill heard the song and named themselves after it.
ОтветитьIt's a solid beginner beat for people like me who can't separate hand and foot rhythms.
Ответитьmakes me wanna tear the room apart...lol.
ОтветитьLove this. My favorite way to watch this video is to take a shot every time he says, "again."
ОтветитьEeeeeeeeooooo , eeeeeeeeeeooo
Ответитьeverything is great but please SHOW your FOOTS and LEGS as always as possible
ОтветитьEleven minutes?? For this simple beat?? 😄
Most new types play it wrong, they cheat with the right hand, instead of playing each sixteenth. You do it, that's the wrong way. It isn't even always recorded like that, it just came out in the mix like that. So slow, no need to cheat.
It's basically, One, Two, Three And Four. Simple. Or, as we used to say...bum, tit, bum-bum, tit. 😉
Ответитьstep one: listen to the first bar of Diamond Head's Helpless (lars does a great version)
ОтветитьHere in lockdown again. Thinking about buying a drum kit to stay sane. Any suggestions on something similar to yours? Something that can run through headphones please. Thanks.
