Two planes down and no one in jail. How does that happen? They just do not give a scrap.

Pilots with more experience would have been able to regain control of a runaway stabiliser situation. Too many pilots relying on computers to fly the plane for them.

I fly often, domestically and internationally, but if I knew, even at the gate, that I was going to board a 737 max I'd walk, even if it meant forfeiting my ticket.

Although I’m a Boeing fan, they don’t care about safety anymore, they’re just money grabbers

APRIL 1988: The first Airbus A320 comes into service.
OCTOBER 1988: The first Boeing 737-400 comes into service.
JANUARY 1989: Brand new Boeing 737-400 crashes in Kegworth, UK... pilots were unaware of a system redesign.
30 YEARS LATER: Airbus build A320neo and Boeing build 737 MAX and this time two Boeing crashes.

They got away with it. The height was that even after the first crash they kept quiet so for the second crash they should be tried for man slaughter

Where are all the libertarians who advocate for self-regulation in a free market? A company has a vested interest to do good right?

The accent and bias go hand in hand. When it comes to aviation, British accents are turd tossers and have no clout.

This video is way too short and not nearly as in-depth as it should be to even remotely explain what happened. Most 737 Pilot’s transition from one 737 to the next with out necessarily getting simulator training. They still get differences training when it comes to different systems that changed on the airplane but no required simulator training. Reason being that the flying characteristics from one to the next do not change very much at all. Because the engines on the max 8 Had been moved up and forward because they were a bigger engine, The MCAS system Was installed to make the flying characteristics similar to older 737 models. Therefore making the transition the same as it would’ve been for older models without necessarily getting simulator training. I’m not saying that the system wasnt messed up, it definitely was. But bashing on Boeing and their technicians does not remotely explain anything that actually happen or actual problem. This video is garbage. Made by clowns that don’t understand aviation.
