Let me tell you what you already know, there are no shortcuts in life to get to true success. Dont think you can be Bob the builder in your home country and goto dubai and in a few years be dripping with diamonds and rolexes. And even if that does become reality it certainly isn't sustainable. You will have to become a new person with elevated or new skills, knowledge, value if you want to be enduring success, which is exactly the same principles required in Britain, dubai , or any other country.
