So I’m guessing the “it” is connected to knowing things about that suit. What I mean is that they want to keep the loop going because they found something worse, which is connected to the cure of pain. So if they don’t keep the loop going humans will suffer pain infinitely or something. Also there is a big chance that this is what SCP-001 was talking about. Also if that was the case then they must have used SCP-3070 to figure out what will happen if they don’t wipe out humanity.

So they eliminated Dr. Bright 999 plague doctor and all the other in mortal SEP humanoids. They also eliminated God and the guardian of the Garden of Eden like why didn’t they use this power to kill dr. bright before
