Kingdom Hearts Re:Fixed - A MUST HAVE Mod for New Features & Improvements

In my opinion, the cinematics would look sooooo much better if they added motion blur instead of boost fps.
I mean, the feeling would be more cinematic. Am I right?

I like this mod and finally got it working but every time i go to the config menu the background music stops completely and the game starts bugging out. Everything is fine until i touch that config menu. This happens in KH2. Havent messed with the other games any.

I've wanted the ability to change button commands for years. I love playing kh but all the buttons are killing me being reversed from every other game lol. X should be jump and square should be attack.

does this stop achievements? cause I'm a huge Achievement nerd

Preference aside, the correct translation (more like transliteration) of "ars arcanum" is "last arcanum" in japanese is the latter (in English), but written with katakana, of course: ラストアルカナム or Rasuto Arukanamu. So, basically, they were fixing that mistranslation in the remasters :)

I honestly never noticed the cutscene's being stuck at 30fps versus gameplay

The retry is an absolute must have. The older games feel unplayable without it.

I feel like Guard and Dodge Doll shouldn't be abilities that cost AP, they should be natural abilities Sora and everyone else should have.

I have no idea how anyone here is even getting the game to run. I downloaded this mod, and all of my issues are still present. For some reason when the game is in full screen, the prerendered cutscenes, such as the opening, stutter like hell, but the second I hit the Windows key to bring up the taskbar, it runs in full speed again.

Wish that Kh refix will be on switch cause I'm getting excited on these new and improvement including however will make it better?

And any improvements to bosses, like Lythos the Rock Titan in the Hades Cup being MUCH huger, having 4500 HP, 100 Strength, Defense, & MP Recovery and ×0.25 Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Stun, and Other damage intake and always follow after Sora when out of range before attacking, especially before the first time Lythos is knocked down onto his titanic rear?

Everything works except for the opening chests during combat in KH1FM. Was this reverted?

Some non text cutscenes in 2 are 60 frames but not all, strange

It'd be swell if there was an option to toggle normal colors or Final Mix colors for Heartless and Unversed.

for those downloading refix, the creator is currently not working on fixing any bugs that occur, the fix for BBS is completely broken as well so dont install that.

OMG, enhanced FOV feels like a dream for KH1 and BBS. It's one of my favourite things that KH2 introduced. Just wow

The games have not aged well got stuck in deep jungle and after about an hour I deleted 1.5/2.5 fans will fight you if you say there bad but to today's standards thay are terrible games bad controls bad camera nothing explains where togo what Todo very frustrating experience I'll never play 1 and 2 ever again.. 3 isn't even good but so far it's playable at least !! Because it's had sum modern stuff you expect from a game added !! All in all I don't get why people defend the kh games so hard I'm guessing nostalgia is a dangerous thing lol 😂 playing on PS4 as we have every single kh game free ATM I'd suggest don't play them unless Ur extremely patient!!

My only complaint is the name, with the "Re" they always tried to make it sound like a full word: Rechain, Recoded, Remind, So "Refixed" doesn't sound as natural, I would've gone with "ReModeled"

I wish they would have added a mini map, or even a normal map in KH1

So I've got a PC that's plenty fine to run KH1 and 2, and they are haunting my dreams not having them, the only problem I'm running into is that I highly doubt I'll enjoy playing them on mouse and keyboard, since I played 1 and 2 on PS2 and then 3 on PS4. So what kind of controller setup should I be looking to get? I'd appreciate any info

My only problem with skipping the roxas portion is you miss the twilight thorn fight and the axel fight where you have both keyblade. I love those 2 fights and is the only thing that would keep me from skipping it lol

With the Roxas skip you don't get to pick the struggle weapon stat bonus?

I’m confused about the limit forms being listed as shortcuts. Aren’t those all context-specific (distance from target), or were they turned into attack so they could be used at any time in Final Mix or later?

Edit: I could also be mixing up KH1 and KH2. I don’t remember using those skills at all in KH2

Just need to wait for Kingdom Hearts to come to Steam and on sale and I will download this. No way I will touch Epic Game Store for a few games (KH series, THPS 1+2 and Sonic Colors Ultimate).

Whenever I try to run the game with the mods installed, I get stuck in an infinite loading screen before the main menu (right after selecting the game in the launcher). Anyone knows how to fix it?

Honestly I feel the zoomed in camera is very important to the look and feel of KH1. However, I would love to see that change implemented in BBS for sure, I'm pretty sure the camera in that game was zoomed in to save on resources, or due to the PSP's smaller display, and it simply doesn't work very well on a full HD PC monitor.
