The thing that I enjoy most about John’s fights with Cassian is that Cassian respects John, but doesn’t have any admiration for him, nor does he quiver in fear at John’s reputation. He goes to every encounter completely confident that he can actually take John down.

This was definitely the best assassins V. Assassin fight in the series. The fight was going either way and I was expecting common to do serious damage whenever he showed up, I wish there were more fights where it was a 1v1

John could've and should've easily shot cassian's foot while he was being choked moments before they crashed inside continental building, but it's part of the plot IG.

The franchise needed more competent hand to hand opponents like this one, instead of just wave after wave of cannon fodder

They can make a cool fight scene also become a slapstick comedy while also still being a cool fight scene.

Honestly, Cassian seems to be the most John wick has ever struggled against through out entire franchise

People go mad for these movies because they look cool, but for me they are slightly over the top at times. Like fast and furious its became comedy.

The amount of work Common must have put in for this scene is insane. Keanu has been doing action movies forever but Common is a rapper by trade and he looked every bit as convincing as Keanu

Cassian needs to come back.. He has been the only person who is a one on one match for John Wick.. I haven't seen part 4 yet.

Anyway this is a very funny fight scene and the camera being zoomed out juuuust enough as those two roll down the stairs is a bit part of it

Common’s jiu jitsu was better. He should’ve won that fight with that arm bar counter to the single leg sweep

Besides being a decent singer, common sure knows how to act. The writers and director probably saw Smokin Aces and said “this is the guy we want for the sequel as a bodyguard to a higher up.”

It's interesting that Cassian bates and antagonizes Wick with a little banter but Wick really never responds during the fight itself. That level of focus and refusal to be bated is a fantastic element to his character.

I hope they bring Cassian back at some point. He is the only assassin that only wanted to kill John because he killed the woman he was hired to protect, and because Wick didn't want to kill her in the first place and understood why Cassian HAD to kill John after that. John didn't kill him
