Remember John Conor jumped on the 1-800-terminator and jammed a screwdriver in his brain and started to eat his RAM so that he could be more intelligent, but actually he just ate arnold schwarzeNATOR’s cooling fan and thermal paste, so terminator had to jump on t-John-Conors back and they ran to the arcade to hack into one of the pinball machines to acquire the necessary components, and just as they were about to, none other than that big silly WOLFIE comes and tackles both of them to the ground and eats the RAM out of Maria Shriver’s husbands’ head and becomes super intelligent and tells them both that they have to go kill that black guy who invented Skyrim, or at least make him do a kamikaze-chest-bomb-sit-down in a building full of policemen while holding the detonator and then told him to die right before he blows everybody up. I remember saying “wow” when I first saw that and someone in the theatre told me I had to leave because I was sitting on the floor blocking the fire exit with tickets to the wrong movie (Glengarry Glen Ross).

The T 800 is a better villain than hero.

Technically not a cyborg. It's a full function robot wearing a living meat-suit! As we learned in the original Terminator, the robot can still function normally without the skin covering.

But terminator is not a cybernetic organism. It does not need living tissue to function. What's underneath is fully functioning android, and the living tissue is basically just a disguise.
A T-800 without living tissue is still a complete T-800.
If a human puts on a power amor, he doesn't magically become a "cybernetic organism" with "metal exoskeleton" and living tissue underneath. Dependency on the parts is what makes the difference.

These scene is amazing it's rare to see like these nowadays because usually there are corny jokes, unnecessary line, goofines and etc.

This movie could have been legendary but the studio clearly thought making it a coming of age teen drama would make more money than the original "tech noir" In other words: it sucks

I don’t care what any one says, Terminator 1-3 and Salvation same timeline. Yes 3 was unnecessary, but still drastically better than all the garbage that came after Salvation.
Nothing after Salvation matters, it all became an uncreative cash grab and shadow of it’s former self after that point.
1 and 2 are masterpieces of human achievement. 3 is good. Salvation is good as well.
Don’t you dare tell me something like “but Dark Fate” I don’t give a darn about dark fate. Or Genysis or whatever or any of that other nonsense where the names aren’t even good. Ok my rant is done, have a good day.

Why would he need someone to protect him in the past if he's alive in the future?

Human tissue over metal endoskeleton. And as such, the human tissue bleeds, gets injured and also heals with time. It even ages with time, as admitted in Genisys. And yet the Terminator T800 in all the movies, seems to require neither food nor drink and that does not make sense. Without nutrients its human flesh should deteriorate and fall away by itself pretty quickly, heaving only the metal inside.

Terminators in the 90s:
