Josh Freese is a great drummer, but I’m starting to think he’s only keeping that drum stool warm for young Mr Hawkins. He’s got his dad’s groove, which became a big part of the Foo Fighters sound.

Kind of the same look Dave had at Reading in 92. Shane is an awesome drummer in his own right.

It’s funny when you’re a son of a drummer at least one of children will follow, I’ve been playing for over 50 years and I’m an ok drummer, I gave my 1965 pearl kit to my guitar playing son a couple years ago, Covid era and he is unreal, he could play with these guys, so I think it runs in the family
