am British and I got raped in Marrakesh last month in a public place while I walked to the toilet alone!!
Be careful and don’t go to a nightclub called 555s - I flew back to English unshowered for the nightclub to refuse to show cctv and cover up the entire thing. Gangs run a lot of nightclubs and literally nobody wanted to know.
Great holiday up until that point - but safety isn’t a priority in these places.

no!! everyone is welcomed to enter a mosque , you just need to have appropriate clothing! which most foreigners don't have at the spot

just use your bank card for Moroccan money and even tho Moroccan cash is a closed currency you can still easily exchange it back in london.

The koutoubia mosquee was built to celebrate a huge victory over christians . The sultan built 3 mosquees actually .this mosquee, the rabat mosquee and Sevilla mosquee. Which was transformed to cathedrale later . Please check your history books before you share your info

Greetings from the U.S. New subscriber here! This video is so timely. My husband and I are vegan and pretty sensitive to animal exploitation. We want to travel to Marrakech this fall and so I'm doing research now into how animals are treated there. Is there a large homeless animal problem? Thank you for the heads up on animals for so-called entertainment and for speaking up for them. You're exactly right - it's extremely cruel and the animals don't want to be doing it. I hope tourists take your advice! Safe travels and thanks for any advice you would like to give me.

Hi. Just want to correct you. The menarat of kotobia and sevilla and rabat are the same since they are constructed the same moroccan architecht since morocco invaded spain and buil andalucia at that time. It was a mosque in sevilla that has been changed to cathedral when christians took over andalucia.

Fantastic for not sowing any animal abuse I’m a moroccan and i have cats and dogs and hate to see any one treating animal they way they do in the square on many occasions no food or drinking water all day so the animal lover association in morocco are doing they are best to stop this cruelty and the only person can do that is the king because he loves animals too we hope so one day

Kotoubia Minaret was not constructed to mirror la Giralda simply because Kotoubia was constructed before la Giralda. And they both were constructed by the Almohad Dynasty who ruled both Morocco and Al Andalous. There is a third minaret in Rabat called Hassan tower which has the same style. Hope u had a good stay in Morocco.

La Giralda was a mosque before it became a cathedral, and the Koutoubia mosque is a bit older than La Giralda, but build by the same Moroccan dynasty (almohads), infact they built 3 of them, 1 Seville(la Giralda), 1 in Marakech(Koutobia), and 1 unfinished in Rabat (hassan tower)
