You deserve so much more likes
Really thanks, great work !
Just a FYI this does not make you compliant per ADA guidelines. Google does not truly track ADA compliance. This same website I am sure would truly fail the WWW3 ADA compliance
ОтветитьThank you for making this videos. I actually have a question regarding page speed. Every accessibility change you did had a negative impact on the performance score. Do you have maybe videos how to tackle this point as well? It ‚s always a battle with GT Metrix and Google Page Speed insights 🙄
ОтветитьLove You bro thank you soo much its working
ОтветитьThanks 🙏
Ответитьwhere is the code how can i get the code
ОтветитьYour child theme functions.php code for fixing scaling and zoom did not work for some reason. This code does work:
// Remove the viewport meta tag from parent theme
remove_action( 'wp_head', 'et_add_viewport_meta' );
// Add the new viewport meta tag
function custom_et_add_viewport_meta(){
echo '<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=5.0, user-scalable=1" />';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'custom_et_add_viewport_meta' );
This is for blogger or wordpress
ОтветитьReally help, thanks
ОтветитьHi, your video has been of great help!
The step-by-step is really good and it sorted out lots of my issues. There are however a couple of more problems with the 'Links do not have a discernible name' section. I have managed to sort it out for images, however not for icons. The shopping cart icon is one of the problems along with the 'back' and 'forth' arrows on our homepage banner. It would be great with a video or guidance about how to sort this!
Aside from the icons, this also seems to happen with a couple of other items, but I am not sure how to describe them without showing the screenshot.
*SIDE NOTE*
For some odd reason, the code I copied from the blog didn't work when I posted it under functions.php. So What I did was download a free plugin called String Locator by InstaWP (very easy to use, go to Tools > String Locator) then type the line that Google gave you. For me it was <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, height=device-height, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=1...> (don't copy the periods that Google gives you, it's only a filler so you know there's more code. So only copy until the last valid character, in this case I copied until "maximum-scale=1"
You enter this into the string locator and it will bring up all the locations this text is at in your files. There may be a few results, but the location I found the code worked was under the location wp-content/themes/wavo/header.php I went in there, deleted the code that had the old scale's, and pasted the blog code then BAM! WORKED!
Really hope this helps someone else.
We are so blessed to have people like you create these videos! Not only is it showing us it can be done, but teaching out how to do it. Subbed for sure
ОтветитьLiked and subbed. You could get the engagement you deserve with "promosm"!!
ОтветитьFantastic, thank you! Could you also do a "Boost Your Performance Score With Divi tutorial" please? It would be awesome! Just like in this video with a premade layout. Thanks again!
ОтветитьThanks for making this video, we had the same issues on our website so thanks to you I have now fix all those, however we have the same SEO issues like you have shown in the video, could you please make a part II video to show us all how to fix those as well? Thanks again.
